Installers can open the link on a phone, tablet, or desktop and perform the tasks required to complete the installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The page allows installers to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>View job and site details<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Edit charge point serial numbers and connector positions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check connection status<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform remote test actions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add notes for the operator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mark the installation job as complete<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Open the installer job<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the <strong>public installer link<\/strong> provided by the operator.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The installer job opens directly in your browser. No Monta login is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the top of the page, review:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Installer job number and job status<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Charging site name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Job description and installation instructions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The total number of charge points on the site<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How many charge points are currently connected (for example, <em>8 \/ 14 connected<\/em>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Use this overview to track progress as you work through the installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Update charge point details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each charge point is listed in a table with its current configuration and status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Edit the charge point identity (serial number)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If the serial number was entered incorrectly by the operator or is missing, you can update it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Locate the charge point in the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Charge Point Identity<\/strong> field, enter the correct serial number.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Select the connector position<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If the connector position is incorrect or not set, you can update it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Locate the charge point in the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the <strong>Connector<\/strong> field, select the correct connector number.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify that the selected connector matches the physical installation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Check charge point status<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each charge point shows a <strong>Status<\/strong> value that helps you understand whether the charge point is correctly configured and connected. The status field serves two purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It shows <strong>validation messages<\/strong> that indicate configuration issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It shows the <strong>connection and operational state<\/strong> of the charge point.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Validation messages<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Validation messages indicate that the charge point cannot be fully configured or connected yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You may see:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>No serial<\/strong> \u2013 No serial number is set for the charge point.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Serial is in use by: [Team Name]<\/strong> \u2013 The serial number is already assigned to a charge point on another team. This prevents the charge point from being connected correctly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you see a validation message, update the <strong>Charge Point Identity<\/strong> field before continuing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Connection and charge point states<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If no validation issues exist, the status reflects the charge point\u2019s connection and operational state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Possible integration (connection) states include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>connected<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>disconnected<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>error<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>pending<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Not connected<\/strong> (no integration configured)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>no_integration<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Combined status values<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>When the charge point state differs from the integration state, the status is shown in the following format: [integration state] ([charge point state])<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>connected (available)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>connected (busy-charging)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>connected (busy-non-charging)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>connected (busy-reserved)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>disconnected (maintenance)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This combined format is only shown when:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The charge point state is different from the integration state, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The charge point state is not <em>passive<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the status field to confirm whether the charge point is ready for testing or if configuration changes are required before continuing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Perform remote actions (Testing)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use <strong>Remote actions<\/strong> to test and troubleshoot charge points during installation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Locate the charge point you want to test.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Remote actions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Depending on the charge point status, the following actions may be available:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Start<\/strong> \u2013 Start a charging session to test the installation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stop<\/strong> \u2013 Stop an active charging session<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Unlock<\/strong> \u2013 Unlock the connector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reboot<\/strong> \u2013 Restart the charge point<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Use these actions to confirm that the charge point is installed and functioning correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Add or read notes on a charge point<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Notes allow installers and operators to communicate directly about a specific charge point:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Report installation issues<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explain configuration choices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share follow-up information with the operator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Add a note<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Locate the charge point in the list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Notes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your message in the <strong>Installer note<\/strong> field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Mark the installation job as complete<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once all required work is finished, you can mark the job as complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review all charge points to ensure they are correctly installed and tested.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Confirm that serial numbers and connector positions are correct.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Mark as complete<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the confirmation dialog, review the <strong>Activate All Charge Points<\/strong> option:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>By default, this option is <strong>checked<\/strong>, meaning all inactive charge points will be automatically activated and made available for use when the job is completed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you do <strong>not<\/strong> want the charge points to be activated immediately, uncheck this option.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Confirm completion of the job.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If automatic activation is disabled during completion, the operator must manually activate the charge points later in Monta Hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Important: By default, completing the job activates all inactive charge points in the group.
