{"id":19586,"date":"2025-05-13T11:30:00","date_gmt":"2025-05-13T10:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monta.com\/en\/?post_type=help-center&#038;p=19586"},"modified":"2025-05-08T10:16:48","modified_gmt":"2025-05-08T09:16:48","slug":"set-up-fuse-protection-for-your-charge-point","status":"publish","type":"help-center","link":"https:\/\/monta.com\/en\/help-center\/set-up-fuse-protection-for-your-charge-point\/","title":{"rendered":"Set up Fuse protection for your charge point"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Monta offers the ability to integrate smart meter readers to optimize your charging experience while protecting your fuse from overloading.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that you need to have a Smart Meter integrated or a CT clamp installed for this feature to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enable Fuse protection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This feature is located in the Home Integrations section of your charge point settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the <strong>Chargers<\/strong> page<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>&#8230;<\/strong> button in the top right corner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Home features<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the Fuse protection menu<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure to connect&nbsp;either:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a <a href=\"https:\/\/saveeye.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Saveeye Smart Meter Reader<\/strong><\/a><strong>:<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CT Clamp:<\/strong> This option requires professional installation.
