Instead of setting up alerts one-by-one for every entity, you create <strong>alert groups<\/strong> &#8211; reusable templates that define exactly which events trigger notifications, how urgent those notifications are, and who receives them, in addition to the display in Hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each alert group contains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Alert Types: The specific events you can be notified about\u00a0e.g. charge point disconnections, security events, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Settings per Alert Type: Toggling that alert type on\/off for the group, priority and recipients of the alert.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: Creating an alert group does not activate it, an alert group must be applied to either a team or site for you to start receiving alerts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When applied to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A team &#8211;  the alert settings cover that team and all sites\/charge points within iut<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A site &#8211; the alert settings cover all charge points in that site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This setup allows you to edit hundreds of entities by adjusting just one group. Making it fast and easy to rollout and keep up to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Default alert groups<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Monta includes two default groups, that cannot be deleted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Default<\/strong>: Includes critical alerts like security breaches, error states, or failing charges. This group includes the following alerts:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Charge point received a critical security event<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Charge point in error for a while<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Charge point not working<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Charge point had 3 failing charges last 1h<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Invalid meter source for signed data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Muted<\/strong>: Silences all notifications for selected Teams or sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can create multiple additional alert groups and assign recipients to tailor notifications to your needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Create an alert group<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is how to create your own alert group:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <strong>Alert settings<\/strong> in Monta Hub.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>+\u202fNew<\/strong> to start a new group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the <strong>Alert group name<\/strong> and add a description (editable later via the Info tab).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Create.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customize your alert group:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select the specific incident(s) to monitor (hover for descriptions). To change the alert group applied to a charging site, please follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the relevant <strong>Team<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Charge Points<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Switch to the<strong> Charging sites <\/strong>tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the site where you would like to set up the alert group<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>Details &amp; Settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down, and you will see a section <strong>Incident alert settings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the <strong>three dots<\/strong> and click <strong>Change alert group<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>the alert group<\/strong> that you would like to apply<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Apply<\/strong>,&nbsp;and you&#8217;re all set!
