Please note<\/b> that when you connect your charge point to Monta, we become the operator of the charge point<\/b>. This means that you need to use Monta to control the charging process.<\/p>\n

1. Change your network settings<\/h2>\n

Here you need to change the network settings of your computer, according to the charge point’s local IP.<\/p>\n

To do so, click on the Internet icon<\/b> in the bottom-right corner of your computer screen. From there, open the “Network & Internet Settings”<\/b> of your device.<\/p>\n

2. Select “Change adapter options”<\/h2>\n

Select “Change adapter options”<\/b>, located in the Advanced networks settings.<\/p>\n

3. Right-click on “Ethernet adapter” and select “Properties”<\/h2>\n

Once you enter the “Change adapter options”, find the Ethernet adapter<\/b>, right-click on it, and select “Properties”<\/b>.<\/p>\n

4. Find and select “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP\/iPv4)”<\/h2>\n

In “Ethernet Properties”, find the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP\/iPv4)<\/b>, click on it, and press “Properties”<\/b>.<\/p>\n

5. Select and fill out “Use the following IP addresses”<\/h2>\n

Once you are there, select “Use the following IP addresses”<\/b>, if not selected, and enter the values as following:<\/p>\n

IP address: <\/b>192.168.100.10<\/p>\n

Subnet Mask:<\/b> 255.255.255.0<\/p>\n

After putting in the values, click on “OK” and close the window.<\/p>\n

6. Prepare the charge point for connection<\/h2>\n

These are the preparation steps you need to make before you can connect your charge point to Monta.<\/p>\n

a. Disconnect the charge point from the AC supply and wait 2 minutes before opening covers!<\/b><\/p>\n

b. Open the T-series front cover and connect an ethernet cable to RJ45 connector.<\/p>\n

c. Power on T-series charge point.<\/p>\n

d. Connect ethernet cable\u2019s other end to PC.<\/p>\n

7. Open a browser to https:\/\/192.168.100.200:8443<\/a><\/h2>\n

When the charge point is up and running, open web browser on your PC and type the address: https:\/\/192.168.100.200:8443<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

Please note<\/b> that some web browsers probably show warnings about certificates. Firefox browser is used as an example here.<\/p>\n

You will see a similar screen. Click on “Advanced…” <\/b>and click “Accept the Risk and Continue”<\/b>.<\/p>\n

8. Insert security key<\/h3>\n

Now the security key must be filled. The key text file is delivered separately.<\/p>\n

Copy and paste the whole text file (including beginning and ending headers) to this dialog and click the “Login” button.<\/p>\n

9. Adjust “Network” settings<\/h2>\n

Click on “Network”<\/b> on the left side menu.<\/p>\n

If WiFi is enabled, you need to disable it.<\/p>\n

Enable Legacy USB Modem. No need to write anything to SIM card ICCID field.<\/p>\n

10. Adjust OCPP settings<\/h2>\n

Navigate to “Settings” <\/b>on the right side menu, and click on “Connectivity & Integrations”.<\/b><\/p>\n

Enable “OCPP 1.6. backend”<\/b> with the toggle and enter the following values:<\/p>\n

Endpoint URL:<\/b> wss:\/\/ocpp.monta.app<\/p>\n

Charge point identity:<\/b> *use the serial number of the charge point*<\/p>\n

Now click “Save and Sync”.<\/b><\/p>\n

11. Connecting the charge point to your Monta account<\/h2>\n

Now you need to add and connect your charge point to your Monta account.<\/p>\n
