Please note<\/b> that when you connect your charge point to Monta, we become the operator of the charge point<\/b>. This means that you need to use Monta to control the charging process.<\/p>\n

1. Notes<\/h2>\n

Before you begin the installation process, please update the firmware version of your Go-E unit.\u00a0 For installing Monta on your charge point, you will need the following things:<\/p>\n

go-eCharger reset card<\/b><\/p>\n

This card should be supplied with the charge point. You will need it to read the QR code, as well as the charge point details.<\/p>\n

The Go-E mobile app<\/b><\/p>\n

You will also need to install the mobile app on your device: Google Play<\/a> \/ App store<\/a><\/p>\n

Please read the guide until the end and take note of the last step, as it is important for the connecting with Monta process.<\/p>\n

2. Connect your device to your charge point<\/h2>\n

Begin the process by connecting your phone to the charge point. Please note <\/b>that some devices require you to switch off mobile data and disconnect from any WiFi networks for this to work.<\/p>\n

There are two ways to connect to the charge point:<\/p>\n

a. Scan QR code<\/b> – Scan the QR code that is on the reset card.<\/p>\n

b. Search for the charge point’s hotspot manually <\/b>– In the settings of the device, search for the hotspot that the charge point is emitting. The details are on the reset card.<\/p>\n

Hotspot name is “Hotspot SSID”<\/b> (go-e-######)<\/p>\n

Hotspot password is “Hotspot key” <\/b>(##########)<\/p>\n

3. Open the Go-E app<\/h2>\n

If you can see the charge point in the app, proceed to configure it.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

If you do not see your charge point, add it in the app.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

4. Connect the charge point to your local WiFi<\/h2>\n

In the bottom of the screen, select the “Internet”<\/b> tab.<\/p>\n

Then, select the “WiFi”<\/b> bar and connect the charge point to your local WiFi.<\/p>\n

5. Configure the OCPP settings<\/h2>\n

Open the “Internet”<\/b> tab and go to “OCPP”<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Enable OCPP 1.6 with the toggle.<\/p>\n

Change the OCPP Server URL to wss:\/\/ocpp.monta.app\/goe###### <\/b><\/p>\n

The numbers (#) are the same as the ones in Hotspot SSID.<\/p>\n

6. Reboot the charge point<\/h2>\n

Click on the “Internet”<\/b> tab again and click on “Reboot”.<\/b><\/p>\n

7. Connecting the charge point to your Monta account<\/h2>\n

Now you need to add and connect your charge point to your Monta account.<\/p>\n
