Please note<\/b> that when you connect your charge point to Monta, we become the operator of the charge point<\/b>. This means that you need to use Monta to control the charging process.<\/p>\n

1. Power up the charge point and connect to it<\/h2>\n

Turn on the charge point.<\/p>\n

Using a smartphone or a computer, open the wireless settings of the device and scan for networks.<\/p>\n

Find and select the network called HALO_******<\/b><\/p>\n

When asked, enter the “Network key”<\/b><\/p>\n

This can be found in the configuration manual.<\/p>\n

2. Open a browser to 192.168.250.1<\/h2>\n

Once you are connected, open a browser window on the same device, enter 192.168.250.1 <\/b>and hit “Enter”.<\/p>\n

Now the setup page should load. In the admin login page enter the pin code.<\/p>\n

The “Pin-code”<\/b> is same as the “Network key”<\/b> previously used.<\/p>\n

3. Connect the charge point to WiFi<\/h2>\n

In the setup page, navigate to the “Wi-Fi”<\/b> section.<\/p>\n

Network name (SSID): <\/b>*your WiFi name*<\/p>\n

Password:<\/b> *your WiFi password*<\/p>\n

Click on “Update”<\/b>.<\/p>\n

4. Open your Charge Amps space profile<\/h2>\n

Once the charge point is online, open your Charge Amps space profile on your screen.<\/p>\n

On your device type my.charge.space<\/b> and login to your account.<\/p>\n

Here you need to add your charge point to your Charge Amps space, if you have not already done this.<\/p>\n

5. Login to 192.168.250.1 again<\/h2>\n

Now go back to the setup page at 192.168.250.1<\/b> and login again.<\/p>\n

In here, go to “OCPP”<\/b> settings.<\/p>\n

Enter the OCPP endpoint:<\/b> wss:\/\/ocpp.monta.app<\/p>\n

Save the settings and reboot the charge point.<\/p>\n

6. Connecting the charge point to your Monta account<\/h2>\n

Now you need to add and connect your charge point to your Monta account.<\/p>\n

Please note that if your connecting your Charge Amps charge point via OCPP, you need to select the “Halo OCPP” <\/b>or “Aura OCPP”<\/b> option.<\/p>\n
