Please note<\/b> that when you connect your charge point to Monta, we become the operator of the charge point<\/b>. This means that you need to use Monta to control the charging process.<\/p>\n

Important!<\/b> To establish OCPP connection to Monta backend, charge point firmware version must be 1.1.16 or higher.<\/p>\n

1. Download the eConfig app and connect<\/h2>\n

Download the eConfig app on your phone using Apple store<\/a> or Google Play<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When launching the app, a guide appears, providing instructions to establish a Bluetooth connection to the eBox. Please, follow the instructions and establish a bluetooth connection with the charge point.<\/p>\n

2. Enter the PUK number<\/h2>\n

After the connection is established, you will have to enter the PUK number.<\/p>\n

The PUK is located on the back of the user manual that came with the eBox.<\/p>\n

After this, you can select between Business<\/b> and Private<\/b> installation.<\/p>\n

3. Enter the technical settings<\/h2>\n

Please note!<\/b> It is very important that these values are correctly entered by a qualified person.<\/p>\n

After you have entered the values, click on “Proceed”<\/b>.<\/p>\n

4. Select backend and network<\/h2>\n

On this page, select “3rd Party Backend”<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Proceed with choosing the network type you are going to use.<\/p>\n

You can choose between WiFi<\/b> (WLAN), LAN<\/b>, and SIM<\/b> connection. Enter the required information in one of the following and continue.<\/p>\n

5. Continue with backend settings<\/h2>\n

When a valid internet connection is established, it\u2019s possible to continue with backend settings.<\/p>\n

Click on “Configure backend” <\/b>and edit these settings:<\/p>\n

Backend URL:<\/b> wss:\/\/ocpp.monta.app<\/p>\n

Chargebox Identity<\/b>: make sure it\u2019s the serial number of the charge point<\/p>\n

The rest should be left as they were by default.<\/p>\n

Press \u201cProceed\u201d<\/b> and now the charge point will establish a connection to the backend.<\/p>\n

6. Connecting the charge point to your Monta account<\/h2>\n

Now you need to add and connect your charge point to your Monta account.<\/p>\n
