This means that you need to use Monta to control the charging process.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_71e8f08383\" data-post-processed=\"true\">1. Notes<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Firmware note:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">In order to successfully connect your charge point to Monta, you need to have firmware <b>1.1.502<\/b> or newer. If your charge point has an older firmware version, you need to update it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">In this guide you will learn how to find and update the firmware version of your charge point.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Installation note:<\/b><br \/>\nIf your charge point has been integrated with another backend, it needs to be reset manually by pressing the reset button for five seconds. The reset button is located inside the charge point, next to the blinking red LED light.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_d1be0de5c0\" data-post-processed=\"true\">2. Download the EVSE Mesh app on yout device<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">On your device, navigate to the <a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/dk\/app\/evse-mesh\/id1518739114\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">AppStore<\/a> or <a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.enplus.mconfig.dev\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Google Play<\/a>\u00a0and download the EVSE Mesh app to begin the setup of your charge point.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Before you begin, make sure to switch on the Bluetooth on your device.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_6e6c81d82f\" data-post-processed=\"true\">3. Login to the app<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Login to the app, using the following credentials:<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Select <b>Operator<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Country: <\/b>China + 86<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Phone number: <\/b>17722447031<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Password: <\/b>447031<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Select <b>OCPP Platform<\/b><\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/OperatorAccount-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_2f2a82c05b\" data-post-processed=\"true\">4. Select &#8220;Device distribution network management&#8221;<\/h2>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/2-46.jpeg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_cae8ec6899\" data-post-processed=\"true\">5. Proceed to add your charge point<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Once you go into the <b>&#8220;Device distribution network management&#8221;<\/b>, you will see an empty &#8220;Charge group list&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Click on <b>&#8220;Add New Group&#8221;<\/b>, followed by <b>&#8220;Add New Charger&#8221;.<\/b><\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/3-47.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_9394bfc7d2\" data-post-processed=\"true\">6. Find the charge point by Bluetooth connection<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">If your device has Bluetooth switched on, your charge point should appear in the list here. Select it by clicking on the charge point serial number.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Then, the screen on the right will appear and both fields will be automatically filled in. Click on <b>&#8220;Add&#8221;.<\/b><\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/Screenshot2022-04-20at09.58.30-47.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_440367f85f\" data-post-processed=\"true\">7. Enter Group Name and Wi-Fi<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">On this page, enter the Group Name, where your charge point is going to be.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Underneath, enter your Wi-Fi credentials, as name and password.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/6-95.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_80f43745ed\" data-post-processed=\"true\">8. Wait for the charge point to connect<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Your charge point is now going to connect to your Wi-Fi network.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Wait until the process is completed and all 4 statements are checked in green.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/7-97.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_02785fd05d\" data-post-processed=\"true\">9. Check the firmware version of the charge point<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">As mentioned in the beginning of this guide, you need to confirm that you have an updated version of the firmware, in order to connect to the Monta app. On the main screen, click on your charge point.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/8-40.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Here, you will see the firmware version.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/firmware-79.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">The version needs to be <b>1.1.502<\/b><i> <\/i>or higher. If the firmware is older, you need to update it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">To update your firmware version, please contact the AutoAid support team at <a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"mailto:info@autoaid.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">info@autoaid.de<\/a>, stating the serial number of your charge point. After the firmware has been updated, reboot the charge point and then you will be able to connect your charge point to Monta.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_f2238e396a\" data-post-processed=\"true\">10. Open the server information<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Once the charge point is connected, click on <b>&#8220;Settings&#8221;<\/b> in the bottom left corner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">From the settings menu, select <b>&#8220;Server information.&#8221;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/8-59.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_16b2727fb8\" data-post-processed=\"true\">11. Navigate to &#8220;OCPP Platform&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">In Account Server, click on <b>&#8220;OCPP platform&#8221;. <\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Then, select it again, to open the OCPP platform details.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/9a-73.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_39d40d4893\" data-post-processed=\"true\">12. Fill out the information fields<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">In here, fill out the following information:<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>IP\/Domain: <\/b>ocpp.monta.app<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Port:<\/b> 443<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Path:<\/b> *leave empty*<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Protocol type: <\/b>WSS<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Proceed to click on <b>&#8220;Confirm&#8221;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/10-41.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_b6c4a7bdbe\" data-post-processed=\"true\">13. Connecting the charge point to your Monta account<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Now you need to add and connect your charge point to your Monta account.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">You can do this through either <a href=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/help-center\/connect-your-charge-point\/\">Monta Charge<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/help-center\/add-charge-point-in-team\/\">Monta Hub<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_7df6081ca0\" data-post-processed=\"true\">14. Troubleshooting<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">If you are not able to connect your charge point to Monta, please check if you have filled in the correct information in <b>Server information<\/b> in the EVSE Mesh app (step 10).<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">We also suggest resetting the charge point by manually by pressing the reset button for five seconds.
