This means that you need to use Monta to control the charging process.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_499197f958\" data-post-processed=\"true\">1. Prerequisites<\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"no-margin\"><b>1.a. OCPP 1.6 license <\/b><\/h3>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">In order to connect the charge point to Monta, you need to use OCPP 1.6 backend connection. To obtain that, you need a license.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">To get the license file, please contact CIRCONTROL Post Sales Department at <a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"mailto:ps-support@circontrol.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">ps-support@circontrol.com<\/a>, prior to installing Monta on the charge point.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"no-margin\"><b>1.b. Computer setup<\/b><\/h3>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">To configure a Circontrol charge point, you will need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Windows computer<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">LAN cable<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">IPSetup software<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">First download the<a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.netburner.com\/download\/ip-setup\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"> IPSetup.exe<\/a> and install it on your Windows computer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Then find the MAC address that is on the communications board, inside the charge point.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_49a04d2eef\" data-post-processed=\"true\">2. Change the IP address of the charge point<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Connecting a computer directly to the charge point needs to be done via a static IP address. The computer and the charge point <b>must be <\/b>in the same network and in the same range.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">In order to change the IP of the charge point, use <b>\u201cIP Setup\u201d<\/b>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Enter the MAC of the device (can be found inside the charger, on the communications board).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Enter the desired IP Address.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Click on <b>\u201cConfigure\u201d.<\/b><\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image1-44.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_1129a8889a\" data-post-processed=\"true\">3. Login to the charge point WebUI<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">The Setup Webpage is opened automatically on the default web browser.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">If not, to access the Setup Webpage, open a web browser and enter the IP address the you configured in the previous step.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<article dir=\"ltr\">\n<p class=\"no-margin\">If login credentials are required, use these credentials:<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>username:<\/b> admin<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>password:<\/b> 1234<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_616054f7ea\" data-post-processed=\"true\">4. Enable DHCP<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">In this example, we use Ethernet connection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Navigate to the <b>&#8220;Network&#8221;<\/b> section and enable <b>&#8220;DHCP&#8221;<\/b> from the on\/off toggle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">This will allow the charge point to obtain an IP address automatically when connected to the router\/network switch.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/step4-33.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Click on the <b>&#8220;Save&#8221;<\/b> icon in the right top corner.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_1e5d20d153\" data-post-processed=\"true\">5. Select OCPP 1.6 integration<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Navigate to the<b> &#8220;Integrations&#8221;<\/b> section and select <b>&#8220;OCPP 1.6&#8221;<\/b> from the drop down menu.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image6-61.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">If you are able to select OCPP 1.6, skip to <a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"#h_d7d37e9e72\">step 6<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">If you do not have OCPP 1.6 as an option, the following message will pop up:<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image5-88.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">To obtain the license file please contact CIRCONTROL Post Sales Department at <a class=\"intercom-content-link\" href=\"mailto:ps-support@circontrol.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">ps-support@circontrol.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">After the license is obtained, you can upload it using the <b>&#8220;Select File&#8221;<\/b> button in the integrations section.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image3-41.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Just choose the file from your computer and upload it.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image9-44.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_d7d37e9e72\" data-post-processed=\"true\">6. Access the OCPP configuration<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Once OCPP 1.6 option is selected, a link appears allowing access to the OCPP configuration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Click on the <b>&#8220;Link&#8221;<\/b> button.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image8-51.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">These tabs require a user identification:<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>user<\/b>: admin<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>password: <\/b>1234<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_bf1654abe0\" data-post-processed=\"true\">7. Change host URL<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">After logging in to the setup page, navigate to the <b>&#8220;Central system&#8221;<\/b> section and change the Host URL to <b>wss:\/\/ocpp.monta.app <\/b><\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image7-97.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Click on the <b>&#8220;Save&#8221;<\/b> icon.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_b7a8efe2bb\" data-post-processed=\"true\">8. Reboot the charge point<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Once done, please do not forget to save changes by clicking on the <b>&#8220;Save&#8221; <\/b>button in the upper right corner and then reboot with the button to the right.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image4-70.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_938c98deba\" data-post-processed=\"true\">9.
