Notes<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Follow the procedure below to set up the service device (laptop) for use with local management for a <b>Windows 10\u00ae <\/b>operating system. Using other types of Operating systems (e.g. Linux\u00ae \/ MAC OS\u00ae) will have their own way of setting up the above given connection requirements. This guide will not elaborate on this.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_b0bd67c3d4\" data-post-processed=\"true\">2. Change your network settings<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Here you need to change the network settings of your computer, according to the charge point&#8217;s local IP.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">To do so, <b>click on the Internet icon<\/b> in the bottom-right corner of your computer screen. From there, open the<b> &#8220;Network &amp; Internet Settings&#8221;<\/b> of your device.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/HS2-28.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_6459e1f893\" data-post-processed=\"true\">3. Select &#8220;Ethernet&#8221; from the left panel<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">From the left panel, select the option <b>&#8220;Ethernet&#8221;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Then on the left side click on <b>&#8220;Change adapter options&#8221;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image6-100.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_a2edfb3727\" data-post-processed=\"true\">4. Select the adapter to configure<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Select the Ethernet adapter to configure, then do a right-button click on it and select <b>\u201cProperties\u201d<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image7-15.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_8de7d3716d\" data-post-processed=\"true\">5. Find and select &#8220;Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP\/iPv4)&#8221; and click on &#8220;Properties&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">In &#8220;Ethernet Properties&#8221;, find the <b>Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP\/iPv4)<\/b>, click on it, and press <b>&#8220;Properties&#8221;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/HS5-92.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_25c6f494b2\" data-post-processed=\"true\">6. Select and fill out &#8220;Use the following IP addresses&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Once you are there, select <b>&#8220;Use the following IP addresses&#8221;<\/b>, if not selected, and enter the values as following:<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>IP address:<\/b> 10.1.0.111<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Subnet Mask:<\/b> 255.255.255.0<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image9-63.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_f18763a0eb\" data-post-processed=\"true\">7. Click &#8220;OK&#8221; and close all windows<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Click on the <b>&#8220;OK&#8221;<\/b> button and close all settings windows.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">For the configuration to work properly the adapter needs to be reset by unplugging and re-plugging the LAN cable.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_258b3368ec\" data-post-processed=\"true\">8. Open your Firewall settings<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Click on <b>\u201cStart\u201d <\/b>and search for <b>\u201cWindows Defender Firewall\u201d<\/b> (simply type in the start menu). Click on the <b>\u201cWindows Defender Firewall\u201d <\/b>icon that appears.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image2-25.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_0f75f25a66\" data-post-processed=\"true\">9. Open &#8220;Advanced settings&#8221;<\/h2>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image5-100.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_2e2760b5b8\" data-post-processed=\"true\">10. <b> Look for the rules titled \u201cFile and Printer&#8221;<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">In the middle pane look for the rules titled <b>\u201cFile and Printer Sharing (Echo Request &#8211; ICMPv4-In)\u201d<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image4-11.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Make sure that all the rules of that type are enabled. You need to check for the three rules, pointed out on the screen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request &#8211; ICMPv4-In) &#8211; <b>Private<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request &#8211; ICMPv4-In) &#8211; <b>Domain<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request &#8211; ICMPv4-In) &#8211; <b>Public<\/b><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">To enable a rule, right-click on it and select <b>&#8220;Enable Rule&#8221;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Once a rule is enabled, you will see a green check mark in front of it. \u2705<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Now your computer is able to reach the charge point locally.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_5ff52bf6f6\" data-post-processed=\"true\">11. Open a browser to <b>10.1.0.110<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Open a browser on your computer and type <b>10.1.0.110<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">The Local Management login page will now be shown<b>. <\/b>Then you need to login to configure the charge point.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Contact Rolec to get the password<\/b><\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image3-6.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_797fad4662\" data-post-processed=\"true\">12. Configure the <b>&#8220;Backend settings&#8221;<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">On the main page, look at the <b>&#8220;Backend settings&#8221; <\/b>section.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>BESPath:<\/b> <b>\/<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>BESURL:<\/b> wss:\/\/ocpp.monta.app<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>BESPortnumber:<\/b> 443<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4658\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/rolec-433.png\" alt=\"rolec 433\" width=\"1186\" height=\"636\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/app\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/rolec-433.png 1186w, https:\/\/monta.com\/app\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/rolec-433-300x161.png 300w, https:\/\/monta.com\/app\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/rolec-433-1024x549.png 1024w, https:\/\/monta.com\/app\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/rolec-433-150x80.png 150w, https:\/\/monta.com\/app\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/rolec-433-768x412.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1186px) 100vw, 1186px\" \/><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Click on <b>&#8220;Save&#8221;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_e394e73efc\" data-post-processed=\"true\">13. Configure the &#8220;SIM settings&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Still on the same page, look at the &#8220;SIM settings&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Enter the correct APN according to your SIM card.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Fill out Username and Password if necessary.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/Screenshot2022-03-21at15.25.49-33.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Click <b>&#8220;Save&#8221;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_cd1fce2c56\" data-post-processed=\"true\">14. Reboot the charge point<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">After saving all of the changes, click on the <b>&#8220;Reboot&#8221;<\/b> command on top of the screen.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/image1-88.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">After your charge point reboots, you are ready to connect it to Monta.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_fc50ad5976\" data-post-processed=\"true\">15.
