This means that you need to use Monta to control the charging process.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_c3cff58df8\" data-post-processed=\"true\">1. Change your network settings<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Here you need to change the network settings of your computer, according to the charge point&#8217;s local IP.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n<article dir=\"ltr\">\n<p class=\"no-margin\">To do so, <b>click on the Internet icon<\/b> in the bottom-right corner of your computer screen. From there, <b>open the &#8220;Network &amp; Internet Settings&#8221;<\/b> of your device.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/HS2-23.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_642a40713c\" data-post-processed=\"true\">2. Select &#8220;Change adapter options&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Select <b>&#8220;Change adapter options&#8221;<\/b>, located in the Advanced networks settings.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/HS3-48.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_9817cac723\" data-post-processed=\"true\">3. Right-click on &#8220;Ethernet adapter&#8221; and select &#8220;Properties&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Once you enter the &#8220;Change adapter options&#8221;, find the <b>Ethernet adapter<\/b>, right-click on it, and select <b>&#8220;Properties&#8221;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/HS4-70.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_9195f24dfe\" data-post-processed=\"true\">4. Find and select &#8220;Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP\/iPv4)&#8221; and click on &#8220;Properties&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">In &#8220;Ethernet Properties&#8221;, find the <b>Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP\/iPv4)<\/b>, click on it, and press <b>&#8220;Properties&#8221;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/HS5-52.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"h_364241fa77\" data-post-processed=\"true\">5. Select and fill out &#8220;Use the following IP addresses&#8221;<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Once you are there, select <b>&#8220;Use the following IP addresses&#8221;<\/b>, if not selected, and enter the values as following:<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>IP address: <\/b>192.168.1.<b><i>x <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">*Please note that <b><i>x <\/i><\/b>can be any value between 1 and 255, except 5. This can be seen in the example below, where the value of <b><i>x<\/i><\/b> is the number 4.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Subnet Mask:<\/b> 255.255.255.0<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Default gateway:<\/b> 192.168.1.10<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/HS6-52.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">After putting in the values, click on <b>&#8220;OK&#8221;<\/b> and close the window.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_017c0191ea\" data-post-processed=\"true\">6. Open your browser to 192.168.1.5:8080<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Open up the browser, type in the IP <b>192.168.1.5:8080<\/b> in the URL field and hit enter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Once this page opens up, you need to log in. The account password is: <b>12345678<\/b><\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/HS8copy-79.png\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">When you click on <b>&#8220;Submit&#8221;<\/b>, you will enter the Web Interface of the charge point.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_3e891a001c\" data-post-processed=\"true\">7. Adjust the charge point&#8217;s settings<\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Enter the following details:<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>WiFi SSID: <\/b>Change it to match your <b>WiFi name<\/b>. Please note that it must be exactly the WiFi&#8217;s name, including special symbols or spaces if relevant.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Server URL:<\/b> ws:\/\/ocpp.monta.app:80<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Charge Mode:<\/b> 1<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>WiFi Key:<\/b> *your WiFi password*<\/p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><\/div>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">After you have filled out the information, click on <b>&#8220;Set and Reboot&#8221;<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Charge point should reboot now.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\"><b>Please note<\/b>: After refreshing, the browser might remove the &#8220;<b>:8080<\/b>&#8221; in the address, in which case you need to add it again. <b>192.168.1.5:8080<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">The rest of the process takes place in Monta.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-25451 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/app\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/Projectev-installation7-1024x656.png?_t=1756461741\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"656\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/app\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/Projectev-installation7-1024x656.png 1024w, https:\/\/monta.com\/app\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/Projectev-installation7-300x192.png 300w, https:\/\/monta.com\/app\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/Projectev-installation7-150x96.png 150w, https:\/\/monta.com\/app\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/Projectev-installation7-768x492.png 768w, https:\/\/monta.com\/app\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/Projectev-installation7-1536x984.png 1536w, https:\/\/monta.com\/app\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2022\/07\/Projectev-installation7.png 1997w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_55cf6e30b6\" data-post-processed=\"true\"><b>8. Connecting the charge point to your Monta account<\/b><\/h2>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Now you need to add and connect your charge point to your Monta account.<\/p>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">You can do this through either <a class=\"notion-link-token notion-focusable-token notion-enable-hover\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/help-center\/connect-your-charge-point\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-token-index=\"1\"><span class=\"link-annotation-unknown-block-id--561716954\">Monta Charge<\/span><\/a> or <a class=\"notion-link-token notion-focusable-token notion-enable-hover\" tabindex=\"0\" href=\"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/help-center\/add-charge-point-in-team\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-token-index=\"3\"><span class=\"link-annotation-unknown-block-id--989520849\">Monta Hub<\/span><\/a>.<!-- notionvc: acb2708a-1483-4f21-8ffe-240ca76cf849 --><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h_2e66f178b7\" data-post-processed=\"true\">9.
