Please note<\/b> that when you connect your charge point to Monta, we become the operator of the charge point<\/b>. This means that you need to use Monta to control the charging process.<\/p>\n

1. Preparation<\/h2>\n

You will need to connect to the WiFi (hotspot), which is emitted from your charge point. All EVC04-Models have a WiFi hotspot feature which is enabled by default.<\/p>\n

The credentials for the access of the internet signal of your charge point is standardly:<\/p>\n

WiFi name or SSID<\/b>: Serial number of your charge point<\/p>\n

Password<\/b>: Chargebox-ID <\/b><\/p>\n

2. Open your browser to 192.168.1.1<\/h2>\n

After connecting to the “Wi-Fi Hotspot\u201d network, you can open your web browser from a computer or mobile device.<\/p>\n

In the URL section, enter 192.168.1.1, <\/b> which is IP address of the charging station.<\/p>\n

3. Login to the Web User Interface<\/h2>\n

Once you enter the URL, you will go to the WebUI login page. The credentials are the following:<\/p>\n

User Name:<\/b> admin<\/p>\n

Password:<\/b> admin<\/p>\n

4. Go to “OCPP settings” and enable “OCPP connection”<\/h2>\n

Once in the WebUI, go to “OCPP settings”<\/b> and enable the “OCPP connection”<\/b>. After that you have to fill in the following details:<\/p>\n

Central system address:<\/b> ws:\/\/ocpp.monta.app<\/p>\n

Charge Point ID:<\/b> *your charge point ID here*<\/p>\n

After this, scroll down until you can see the field called “FreeModeRFID”<\/b>. <\/b>There, input eight times the letter F, as shown in the example: FFFFFFFF<\/b><\/p>\n

Finally, press on “Save”<\/b>.<\/p>\n

5. Connect your charge point to the Internet<\/h2>\n

Now it is time to connect your charge point to the Internet. To do so, navigate to the “Network interfaces”<\/b> section and select “WLAN”<\/b>.<\/p>\n

SSID:<\/b> *your WiFi\u2019s exact name*<\/p>\n

Password:<\/b> *your WiFi’s password*<\/p>\n

After you have filled the information, please click on “Save”<\/b>.<\/p>\n

6. Connecting the charge point to your Monta account<\/h2>\n

Now you need to add and connect your charge point to your Monta account.<\/p>\n

You can do this through either Monta Charge<\/span><\/a> or Monta Hub.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n
