Monta automatically applies this subsidy when calculating your home charging reimbursement, ensuring your reimbursement reflects your actual charging costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Str\u00f8mst\u00f8tte<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Norwegian government reimburses 90% of electricity costs above 0.75 NOK\/kWh (excluding VAT). This applies to spot price electricity contracts. Str\u00f8mst\u00f8tte only applies at your primary residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you charge at home, Monta deducts the Str\u00f8mst\u00f8tte amount (if applicable) before calculating what your employer owes you. Your employer pays the net cost after the subsidy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Str\u00f8mst\u00f8tte does not apply to fixed kWh price electricity contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Request reimbursement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To receive reimbursement, you need to provide your electricity cost details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1 \u2014 Select your contract type<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the Monta app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>Reimbursements<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap <strong>Provide electricity costs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>What type of electricity contract do you have?<\/strong>, select <strong>Spot price<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Your price zone (NO1\u2013NO5) is automatically detected from your charge point&#8217;s address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 2 \u2014 Set up Str\u00f8mst\u00f8tte<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the <strong>Str\u00f8mst\u00f8tte<\/strong> screen, review the toggle <strong>Should str\u00f8mst\u00f8tte be applied?<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leave the toggle on if you are on a spot price contract at your primary residence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn the toggle off if this charge point is not at your primary residence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 3 \u2014 Add additional costs (optional)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the <strong>Additional costs<\/strong> screen, enter any extra per-kWh fees charged by your utility provider (such as grid fee and supplier markup).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the amount under <strong>Additional cost per kWh incl. VAT<\/strong> in NOK\/kWh.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 4 \u2014 Confirm and submit<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review the cost summary on the <strong>Confirm costs<\/strong> screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>I confirm that the electricity costs I entered are correct.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap <strong>Request reimbursement<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Your employer will be notified to review and approve your request. You will be notified once the request is pproved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">View and edit your electricity costs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After your initial setup, you can update your electricity cost details at any time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the Monta app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to your charge point settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap <strong>Electricity costs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>From this screen, you can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Switch between <strong>Spot price<\/strong> and <strong>Fixed kWh price<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn <strong>Should str\u00f8mst\u00f8tte be applied?<\/strong> on or off<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update your <strong>Additional cost per kWh incl.
