{"id":2840,"date":"2022-07-10T11:23:31","date_gmt":"2022-07-10T10:23:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/monta.com\/uk\/?post_type=help-center&#038;p=2840"},"modified":"2025-09-23T13:34:22","modified_gmt":"2025-09-23T12:34:22","slug":"enabling-team-invoicing","status":"publish","type":"help-center","link":"https:\/\/monta.com\/en\/help-center\/enabling-team-invoicing\/","title":{"rendered":"Request to enable Team invoicing"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>If your Team has Business or Enterprise plan, the Team can request to receive monthly invoices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to enable invoicing you need to go through an approval process, where Monta&#8217;s Finance department will look into your request:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only an Operator, a Team Owner or an Admin with Wallet rights can make this request<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To enable team invoicing and unlock a credit line, the team must be associated with a VAT-registered company (also legible for cross border transactions within the EU) and be approved by Monta Finance. This process involves a KYB (Know Your Business) evaluation of the company.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The KYB process typically takes up to 10 business days, during which Monta Finance will review the company&#8217;s financial statements and other relevant documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Before Team invoicing is approved, the Team cannot go into negative balance and therefore needs to deposit funds into the Monta Wallet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Request to enable Team invoicing <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the Team in Monta Hub and select the Payments tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the Settings tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on <strong>Request invoicing<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your invoice request is now processing and an email will be sent you with an update.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div>\n  <script async src=\"https:\/\/js.storylane.io\/js\/v2\/storylane.js\"><\/script>\n  <div class=\"sl-embed\" style=\"position:relative;padding-bottom:calc(54.03% + 25px);width:100%;height:0;transform:scale(1)\">\n    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"sl-demo\" src=\"https:\/\/app.storylane.io\/demo\/v3vamgqzghgp?embed=inline\" name=\"sl-embed\" title=\"Interactive product demo\" aria-label=\"Interactive product demo\" allow=\"fullscreen\" allowfullscreen style=\"position:absolute;top:0;left:0;width:100%!important;height:100%!important;border:1px solid rgba(63,95,172,0.35);box-shadow: 0px 0px 18px rgba(26, 19, 72, 0.15);border-radius:10px;box-sizing:border-box;\"><\/iframe>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Request has been approved<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you receive an approval email from Monta&#8217;s Finance Team, you can now use invoicing on your Team Wallet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We strongly recommend to carefully read the conditions of the approval before you proceed to use the Team Wallet for payments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enable Automatic Wallet Payouts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can enable automatic wallet payouts directly in Hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once activated, your wallet balance will be transferred to your added bank account automatically after each monthly invoice run. Please note that this is only available for teams using <strong>Pay by Invoicing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the Team in Monta Hub and select the <strong>Payments<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the <strong>Settings<\/strong> tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure your <strong>bank account details are added<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Enable<\/strong> button to enable automatic wallet payouts <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p> After your monthly invoice is generated, if your wallet has a <strong>positive balance<\/strong>, a payout is triggered automatically to your registered bank account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div>\n  <script async src=\"https:\/\/js.storylane.io\/js\/v2\/storylane.js\"><\/script>\n  <div class=\"sl-embed\" style=\"position:relative;padding-bottom:calc(56.48% + 25px);width:100%;height:0;transform:scale(1)\">\n    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"sl-demo\" src=\"https:\/\/app.storylane.io\/demo\/playin4909zi?embed=inline\" name=\"sl-embed\" title=\"Interactive product demo\" aria-label=\"Interactive product demo\" allow=\"fullscreen\" allowfullscreen style=\"position:absolute;top:0;left:0;width:100%!important;height:100%!important;border:1px solid rgba(63,95,172,0.35);box-shadow: 0px 0px 18px rgba(26, 19, 72, 0.15);border-radius:10px;box-sizing:border-box;\"><\/iframe>\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Using Team Wallet without invoicing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use the Team Wallet without enabling invoicing, as well.
