This is a guide that shows how to install Monta on your charge point. If you want to connect your charge point to your Monta account, please follow the steps in the end of the guide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note<\/strong> that when you connect your charge point to Monta, we become the operator of the charge point<\/strong>. This means that you need to use Monta to control the charging process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Important note: <\/strong>For this installation you will need a USB drive (FAT; FAT32 Compatible, <32GB) and T10 screw driver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Open the online configuration tool and login<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Preferably, use Chrome browser on a computer and open the online configuration tool at http:\/\/evcs.deltaww.com\/configtools<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Login using these credentials:
Username<\/strong>: emeacustomer@emea.com<\/a>
Password<\/strong>: emeacustomer@EMEA01<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Start the configuration tool<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After logging in, start the configuration tool and find the model that you are installing, select it and click “Go”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Set the OCPP parameters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Backend<\/strong>: OCPP<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charge Box ID<\/strong>: use the serial number of the charge point you’re installing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OCPP Version<\/strong>: 1.6J + Security<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Server URL<\/strong>: wss:\/\/ocpp.monta.app<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ethernet Network Mode<\/strong>: DHCP (If your network supports it) – otherwise, setup a static IP<\/p>\n\n\n\n

APN: <\/strong>INTERNET (<\/strong>If you are using a Monta SIM card) – otherwise, enter the required APN depending on the SIM card
CHAP Username & Password: <\/strong>Leave blank if using Monta SIM card, otherwise enter the required username and password depending on the SIM card (if applicable)

After all the required fields are filled out click “Next”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Set authentication mode<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Authentication Mode<\/strong> – OCPP\/RFID (Remote Control)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OCPP Offline Policy <\/strong>– Accept local list only

Click “Next”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Save the configuration file<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the preview section, click “Save Configuration File”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now upload the downloaded file to a USB Drive, make sure the USB Drive is configured to use FAT or FAT32 file system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Insert the USB Drive to the charge point<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Carefully follow the instructions below on how to insert the USB Drive into the charge points USB Port.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Wait until the configuration process is done<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Follow the instructions below and make sure the configuration is done and charge point reboots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Connecting the charge point to your Monta account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now you need to add and connect your charge point to your Monta account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
