21 February, 2023 – <\/strong>evec<\/a>, the UK\u2019s fastest growing manufacturer and supplier of electric vehicle (EV) charge points, and EV charging platform Monta<\/a> are joining forces to enable affordable and accessible charging across the UK. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

evec, which has seen huge YoY growth, is driving forward the adoption of EVs by providing the most affordable residential and commercial EV chargers on the market. By providing high-quality, value-driven EV chargers that are Powered by Monta<\/a>, evec and Monta hope to dramatically influence the UK\u2019s EV charging targets and help meet the goal of 300,000 charge points in the UK by 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

evec\u2019s chargers will now be shipped directly from the factory with Monta software enabled as part of the Powered by Monta programme, ensuring an easy onboarding process to Monta\u2019s platform. evec\u2019s customers will be able to join and use Monta\u2019s roaming network of over 280,000 charge points across Europe, meaning that each driver is able to charge at home, at work, and on the go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Monta platform enables charge point owners, both residential and commercial, to monetise their charge point by sharing it with the EV charging community. Charge point owners will be able to fully own the availability, cost, and access for charging ensuring a fully flexible solution for all charge point owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

evec is aiming to be carbon positive across their entire operations and will use Monta\u2019s data to understand the carbon impact of EV charging. Stephen Johnson, CEO at evec <\/strong>comments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
