How to set up Monta Stickers

Learn how to pair a QR code with your charge point via Monta Charge. With a sticker, an EV driver can quickly scan it and begin charging.

The purpose of the Monta Sticker is to make your Public charge points easier to identify and start charging on them. EV drivers can scan the Sticker as a QR code or with NFC, to start a charging session.

Pair a Monta Sticker

  1. Click on the settings wheel of your charge point
  2. Scroll down and select Sticker
  3. Click on Pair Sticker
  4. Scan the sticker with your phone camera or NFC
  5. The Monta Sticker is now paired!

Order a Monta Sticker

  1. Click on the settings wheel of your charge point
  2. Scroll down and select Sticker
  3. Click on Order a sticker
  4. Select the sticker you want
    • The bigger sticker includes an explanation for the user on how to scan the QR
  5. Select the number of stickers you want and the language of the instructions
  6. Fill in the name and address for the order
  7. Confirm the order details and click on Complete order

Why should I pair QR stickers to my charge point?

  1. On sites with multiple charge points, the EV driver can easily scan the attached sticker and start charging straight away.
  2. QR sticker charging can be an app-free and account-free experience. When an EV driver scans the QR sticker, it can open Instant apps / App clips allowing the EV driver to start charging straight away.

Where should I place the QR sticker?

  • Make sure the QR code is easy for EV drivers to see. It should be really easy to find and not blocked by anything.
  • Avoid the RFID reader area of the charge point
  • Avoid covering the logo of the charge point
  • Avoid covering the LED light indicator of the charge point.
