Explains how to create a personal or company team in Monta Charge and share charge point access with members. Use this article to set up a team for friends, neighbours, or employees.
For: Drivers and account owners using Monta Charge
Monta accounts allow you to share charge point access with other users, offer custom charging prices and track the charging activity on the charge points inside.
Create a new account
Create an account to share your charge point(s) with your friends and/ or neighbours.
- Under navigation Me, select Accounts
- Click on Create or join a Account and select Create an Account
- Fill in the name, email and address of the account
- Enter a price/ kWh that you want the account members to pay
- This is the default price for charging on the account charge points. You can add more prices later.
- Select if you want account members to be automatically approved
- As soon as someone requests to join the account, it will happen automatically
- Click on Done to complete the process.
Create an account for a company
With Monta, you can easily offer different pricing to guests, employees, or club members wanting to use your charge point(s).
- Under navigation Me, select Accounts
- Click on Create or join a Account and select Create an Account
- Write the name and email of the account
- Toggle on This is for a company and click Next
- Fill in the company address and financial information
- Enter a price/ kWh that you want the account members to pay
- This is the default price for charging on the account charge points. You can add more prices later.
- Select if you want account members to be automatically approved
- As soon as someone requests to join the account, it will happen automatically
- Click on Done to complete the process.
