Car integration troubleshooting

This article covers common issues when integrating your car with Monta, including how to resolve wrong state of charge readings and stuck battery percentages.

For: EV drivers using the Monta Charge app who are experiencing car integration issues

I cannot select my car in Monta Charge

Before you can integrate your car, you need to add it to your Monta account. This step is required regardless of whether the car brand supports integration.

If you cannot find your car brand in the selector, contact the Monta support team via Monta Charge > Me > Support or by creating a ticket at support.monta.com.

I get an error during car integration

If you experience an error during the integration process, contact the Monta support team via Monta Charge > Me > Support. The team will investigate and assist with the integration.

Monta Charge is showing the wrong state of charge (SoC)

  1. Refresh the screen in Monta Charge to check if the SoC updates.
  2. Check the reliability score of the integration via Enode on the Enode capabilities page. If the score is lower than 3, there may be a delay in response time.

The car is stuck on a certain SoC in Monta Charge

If the car's battery percentage is not updating, the vehicle has likely stopped communicating with Enode. Re-linking the car should restore the connection.

  1. Delete the current car integration.
  2. Complete the full integration flow from the beginning, without reusing any previous car registration.
  3. Once completed, the API token will be renewed and the SoC will display correctly.
