MIAMI, FL, June 22, 2026. Monta, the software platform powering EV chargers globally, and Presto, a leading EV charging and roaming platform in the US, have announced a direct OCPI 2.2.1 roaming integration designed to expand reliable charging access for fleet, rideshare, and commercial EV drivers across the US.

Through the integration, Presto fleet and rideshare drivers gain access to chargers running on Monta’s software. Chargers across 600+ Monta-operator sites in the US are now available to Presto’s fleet, rideshare, rental car, last-mile delivery, and commercial driver base.

The connection is built on OCPI 2.2.1, the latest version of the Open Charge Point Interface standard, and runs directly between Presto and Monta. The direct architecture delivers cleaner session data, deposits roaming revenue instantly into operators’ Monta Wallets, and cuts integration layers between fleets and the chargers they rely on. In addition, Monta’s operators can work with Presto through the integration to provide targeted fleet pricing incentives to attract demand to their sites.

The integration is particularly valuable for high-mileage drivers who depend on reliable charging access. Monta’s 30+ US operators run sites serving commercial EV drivers across key states. Connecting such sites to Presto’s base of rideshare and fleet partners is designed to lift utilization for operators while expanding driver choice.

“Partnering with Presto to enable direct roaming immediately expands the fleets and drivers our operators can serve,” said Robert Glæsel, General Manager of Monta North America. “We work every day to make our operators’ chargers busier and Presto’s access to fleet demand brings value  for the entire operator base on Monta.”

“Monta is exactly the kind of partner we want on Presto’s roaming network: a deep and growing operator base and a strong, reliable roaming implementation ,” said JJ Raynor, Presto CFO and Co-founder. “This partnership enables Monta’s operators to work with Presto on bringing fleet demand to the right locations, at the right times, in ways that support host utilization goals.”
