Great technology is built by curious minds. Here, we prioritise people first, fuelling a culture where asking ‘why’ is just as important as knowing ‘how.’ Dive into our employer blog to find out what makes Monteers tick – both in and outside of the office.

Next up: Lisa Martini, Commercial Strategy Lead, based in Copenhagen. Stepping into a brand-new role at Monta, Lisa is the architect of our commercial excellence within the Customer Success team. By designing fresh processes and enabling our CSMs to become “commercial wizards”, she ensures that our partnerships aren’t just maintained, but are constantly evolving to provide more value for our customers.

Take us behind the scenes. What challenge are you working on right now that really excites you?

Right now, the challenge itself is what excites me. I recently stepped into a new role as Commercial Strategy Lead, sitting within Monta’s Customer Success team. It’s a role we’ve never had before, which means I get to build the foundation from scratch – designing processes, guiding commercial conversations, and helping shape what strong commercial excellence looks like at Monta.

I support, enable, and – depending on complexity – join commercial calls alongside our Customer Success Managers whenever we engage in contract discussions. Having the chance to craft something new, influence how we work, and see the impact on our customers in real time is incredibly energising.

When do you feel most supported by your team?

Honestly, every time I have a question – whether it’s small, big, or wildly complex, I get an answer almost instantly. We’re a very closely knit team, and the level of care and willingness to help is immense.

We learn so much from one another, and the moments when I’m stuck and someone jumps in to unblock me are when I feel most supported. It’s that feeling of we’ve got each other, always.

What fuels you when the laptop closes?

Exercise, always. If I can end my day with yoga, a spinning class, or a run, I’m happy. If I can’t… well, then I get a bit grumpy! Moving my body is how I reset, decompress, and recharge.

What are you most excited to build with your team over the next six months?

I can’t wait to see the CSM team grow into a group of true commercial wizards. All the enablement work happening now – the training, the frameworks, the hands-on support, will really pay off.

In six months, I’m convinced we’ll see even more confidence, knowledge, and commercial sharpness across the team. Being able to transfer what I know and watch it get absorbed and put into practice is one of the absolute highlights of this role.
