Kom godt i gang med Energy Portal

Lær, hvad Energy Portal er, hvordan du får adgang til det, og hvordan du gennemfører din første opsætning.

The Energy Portal is Monta's dedicated tool for operators managing large or complex EV charging sites — multiple charge points, shared electrical infrastructure, and advanced requirements like load management, charge intent prioritisation, and price-optimised smart charging across an entire site.

If you're a home user or looking to enable smart charging for a single charge point, you don't need the Energy Portal — you can do this directly in the Monta Charge app or Monta Hub.

Accessing the Energy Portal

The Energy Portal is available at energy.monta.app.

Log in with your existing Monta operator credentials. There is no separate account or password required. Your sites and teams are automatically scoped to your access level.

What you can do in the portal

The Energy Portal is organised around six core areas:

  • Sites — create and configure your energy sites: voltage, timezone, country area
  • Topology — model your electrical infrastructure as a node hierarchy (fuses, groups, EVSEs)
  • Smart Charging — price-optimise charging against energy prices; set departure times and SoC targets
  • Charge Intents — define charging rules by site, RFID, vehicle, or EVSE, with scheduled overrides
  • Load Management — set current and power limits at every node level; connect external meters
  • Monitoring — view real-time power and session data; access full settings change history

When you open the portal, you land on the sites list — an overview of all energy sites your team has access to. Selecting a site gives you access to:

  • Topology — your node tree and connected EVSEs
  • Monitoring — live power charts and session data
  • Charge Intents — intent rules for this site
  • Settings — site configuration and change log

Use the search to find specific nodes, EVSEs, or sites across your account.

First steps

If you are setting up the Energy Portal for the first time:

  1. Open a site from the sites list
  2. Review or build your topology
  3. Set a site default charge intent
  4. Enable smart charging for one or more EVSEs
  5. Check the monitoring charts to confirm data is flowing
