1. Preparation

Ecotap configures OCPP settings on their side. Complete the template below with your charge point's information and email it to werkplaats@ecotap.nl. Ecotap will apply the configuration and you will then be able to swap the SIM card.

Fields marked N/A should be left empty if not applicable to your setup.

2. Configuration template

We want to connect our charger S/N [serial number] to the Monta back office. Required information:

• APN name: [APN of your SIM card] — use INTERNET if using a Monta SIM
• APN username: [fill in if relevant] — N/A for Monta SIM
• APN password: [fill in if relevant] — N/A for Monta SIM
• SIM card & IP address of the SIM card (if required): N/A
• OCPP version (Open Charge Point Protocol): OCPP 1.6 JSON
• Endpoint URL:

If a secure WebSocket connection is not supported

3. Connect the charge point to your Monta account

Once Ecotap confirms the charge point has been configured, proceed to connect it to your Monta account.

Add your charge point to your Monta account via Monta Charge (mobile app) or Monta Hub (web portal).
