Reservation lets you hold a public charge point so it is free and waiting when you arrive. The charge point owner sets the price per minute and the maximum reservation time.
How reservation works
When you reserve a charge point, no other driver can use it until you arrive and start charging, or until you cancel. You pay a small per-minute fee for the time it is held — you are charged when you start charging or when you cancel.
How do I find a charge point I can reserve?
Open the map in Monta Charge and use the filters to find charge points that support reservation. When you open a reservable charge point, you will see the option to reserve it.
How do I reserve a charge point?
- Open the charge point on the map.
- Set your charging preferences — choose the car you want to charge (optional) and the amount you want to charge.
- Tap Go to payment and select a payment method.
- Tap Reserve charge point. You will see the price per minute and the maximum reservation time set by the owner.
- Swipe Start reservation. The charge point is now held for you and other drivers cannot use it.
- When you arrive, plug in and tap Charge now to start charging.
What it costs
You pay a per-minute fee for the time the charge point is reserved, set by the owner. You are charged when you start charging or when you cancel. Reservations also have a maximum time — if you do not start charging within it, the reservation ends.
How do I cancel a reservation?
You can cancel at any time before you start charging — tap Cancel reservation. You only pay for the minutes the charge point was reserved.
