- Filter sites by open installer jobs or non-operational charge points
Charging site details
Site details let you add structured information about the location. This is shown to drivers in Monta Charge and shared with roaming networks.
- Driver confidence — Drivers see vehicle compatibility, access policies, and amenities before navigating to your site.
- Roaming network accuracy — Details are shared via OCPI 2.2.1, ensuring accurate listings on third-party networks and apps.
- AFIR compliance — Structured data supports reporting requirements of the Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR) for applicable operators.
- Partner API — All enhanced details are available via the Monta Partner API for operators building their own products and integrations.
To edit details of a site:
- Go to Chargers > Charging sites.
- Select a site.
- Select Details.
- Complete the fields described below.
- Select Save.
What information can I add to a site?
- Location classification — Select the site type: highway, depot, parking, residential, or leisure. Helps drivers find suitable stops and is used by roaming networks to filter locations.
- Images — Upload photos of the site. Images appear in Monta Charge and help drivers recognise the location before arriving.
- Amenities — Select available facilities such as toilets, food, Wi-Fi, and shelter. Amenity icons appear on the site card in Monta Charge.
- Energy source and supplier — Specify the energy source (for example, solar or wind) and supplier. Supports sustainability reporting and driver visibility of the energy mix.
- Developer metadata — Store custom key-value data for use with the Partner API. Not displayed to drivers.
Opening hours
In the Details tab, you can also set opening hours — informing drivers when the site is expected to be accessible.
- Informational only — does not control access or pricing.
- Shared via Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI) for roaming network compatibility and regulatory compliance.
- You can define multiple opening windows per day and indicate whether charging is allowed outside opening hours or whether vehicles must leave before closing.
We recommend combining opening hours with a Schedule for access control alongside informational guidance.
How do I do a bulk firmware update?
- Navigate to the charging site.
- Select the Charge Points tab.
- Click Filter outdated charge points.
- Select one or more charge points and click Update firmware.
- Optionally click Release notes to review what is changing.

- Go to Settings.
