For: Charge point operators and operator admins using Hub.
Local charge keys are the charge keys an EVSE stores on the device, so it can authorize charging when it has no network connection. The Local charge keys page shows exactly which keys are stored on one EVSE.
Where do I find local charge keys?
Open Hub.
In the sidebar, select Network, open the EVSE tab and select an EVSE.
In the top-right menu (the "…" menu) of the EVSE page, select View Local Charge Keys.
The page opens with a breadcrumb back to the EVSE: Network, EVSE, the EVSE name, Local charge keys.
What does the Local charge keys page show?
The page starts with a short explanation, Authorize charging without a network connection. Below it is a table of the charge keys that are synced to this EVSE. It does not list every charge key on the account.
Charge key: the name and identifier of the key.
Owner: who the key belongs to. If the key has no owner, the column shows No owner.
Last updated: when the key was last updated.
A status for each key: Active or Blocked.
The table shows 50 keys per page.
How do I sync the list again?
On the Local charge keys page, select Sync above the table.
Wait for the button to stop spinning. The list on the EVSE is updated from the account's charge keys.
Why does a warning say not all keys were synced?
If some of the account's charge keys did not reach the EVSE, a banner appears with the message Not all account keys were synced to this EVSE. This can happen if the EVSE is offline, cannot store all keys, or if a sync error occurs. Some EVSE models can only store a limited number of keys. Select Sync to try again.
How do I add or remove keys on the list?
You do not edit the list on the EVSE. The account's charge keys are automatically added to the local list on all EVSEs in the account. To add or remove keys, manage charge keys in account settings. The change reaches the EVSE through the next sync.
