Operators, Team Owners, and Admins can define where members can use the Team Wallet to start charging sessions. Restrictions can be applied at multiple levels and are inherited downward by default.

How does inheritance work?

Restrictions cascade from top to bottom:

• Operator: Organisation-wide defaults.
• Team: Default for all team members and charge keys.
• Member Group: Narrower rules for specific groups.
• Member: Individual restrictions.
• Charge key: Can only narrow the scope further, not expand it.

When applying new team settings, you can choose to update all lower levels or keep current settings.

What do members see?

If a member tries to charge at a location outside the allowed countries or operators, the session will not start. They will see a message that the Team Wallet cannot be used at that charge point.

How do I restrict wallet payments by country or operator (team level)?

1. Go to Settings → Team settings.
2. Click + New team setting or click an existing setting to edit it.
3. Fill in the Basic information and Member permissions.
4. In the Wallet payment restrictions section, select one or more:
   • Allowed countries
   • Allowed charge points
5. Click Apply team settings.
6. In the confirmation, choose:
   • Apply team settings — updates all members and charge keys, or
   • Keep current settings — no changes.

How do I apply restrictions to a Member Group?

1. Open your team and go to Members & Access → Member Groups.
2. Select a group and open Member wallet permissions and payment restrictions.
3. Choose the Allowed countries and Allowed operators.
4. Save changes.

How do I apply restrictions to a specific member?

1. Go to Members → [Member name] → Settings.
2. Under Member wallet permissions and payment restrictions, define allowed countries and operators.
3. Save changes.

If team settings are applied globally, you will see a note that "Operator or Team restrictions are applied."

How do I restrict a charge key?

1. Go to Charge keys → [Key name] → Edit.
2. Under Wallet payment restrictions, select allowed countries and operators.
3. Save.

If the charge key has no member owner, it follows the team's restrictions. If it has an owner, it inherits from that member and can be narrowed further.
