What is an Operator Team?

An Operator Team is set up by the Operator to manage their own charge point sites. All income from the Team Wallet goes directly to the Operator Wallet. The Team inherits the Monta plan of the Operator.

Who is this for?

Operators who want to collect all income from a charge point site into their Operator Wallet — for example, to cover part of their Operator expenses.

How do I create an Operator Team?

Operator Teams can only be created by Operator-level users.

1. Go to the Teams section in the left-side menu.
2. Click + Add new.
3. Select Operator Team.
4. Give the Team a name and fill in a contact and finance email.
5. Select a tag that represents the type of Team.
   • We recommend the Charge point operator tag.
6. Fill in the Team address (optional for Operator Teams, as they are managed by the Operator).
   • Fill in any other fields as needed.
7. Click Done.
8. Use the search bar to find the newly created Team.

How do I convert an existing Team into an Operator Team?

You can convert an existing Professional Team into an Operator Team so that all profits are directed to the Operator Wallet. This action can only be performed by Operator-level users.

1. Open the Team in Monta Hub.
2. Click Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and toggle on Operator Team.
4. Click Save changes.

What can I do next?

• Add and connect charge points.
• Make charge points public so EV drivers can find them on the Monta map.
• Invite users to join the Team and set a price for them to charge.
