What is an Operator account?
An Operator account is set up by the Operator to manage their own charge point sites. All income from the Account Wallet goes directly to the Operator Wallet. The account inherits the Monta plan of the Operator.

Operators who want to collect all income from a charge point site into their Operator Wallet — for example, to cover part of their Operator expenses.
How do I create an Operator account?
Operator accounts can only be created by Operator-level users.
- Go to the Accounts / Teams section in the left-side menu.
- Click + Add new.
- Select Operator account.
- Give the account a name and fill in a contact and finance email.
- Select a tag that represents the type of account.
- We recommend the Charge point operator tag.
- Fill in the account address (optional for Operator accounts, as they are managed by the Operator).
- Fill in any other fields as needed.
- Click Done.
- Use the search bar to find the newly created account.
How do I convert an existing account into an Operator account?
You can convert an existing Professional account into an Operator account so that all profits are directed to the Operator Wallet. This action can only be performed by Operator-level users.
- Open the account in Monta Hub.
- Click Settings.
- Under Features, toggle on Operator account. The change saves automatically.
What can I do next?
- Add and connect charge points.
- Make charge points public so EV drivers can find them on the Monta map.
- Invite users to join the account and set a price for them to charge.
