How do I create an installer job?

This article explains how to create an installer job in Monta Hub so that installers can connect multiple charge points on-site without needing a Monta account.

An installer job lets you connect multiple charge points to your Monta account at once. You share a public link with your installer so they can complete the configuration on-site without needing their own Monta account.

Note: The installer page is publicly accessible. Anyone with the link can perform allowed installer actions, including remote test charges. Share the link only with trusted installers, and revoke or complete the job as soon as installation work is finished.

The overall process is:

  1. Add your charge points to your Monta account as part of the same charging site.
  2. Create an installer job and fill in the relevant details.
  3. Share the public installer link with your installer.

How do I create a new installer job?

  1. Log in to Monta Hub.
  2. Click Installer Jobs.
  3. Click + Create.
  4. Fill in the correct details: account, team, and charging site.
  5. Write a job description for the installer (optional).
  6. Click Copy public link to share it with your installer.
