Understand the three Team member roles — Owner, Admin, and Member — and which permissions can be assigned to each.

For: Team Owners, Admins, and Operators who manage Team member access in Monta Hub.

Team user roles

Every Team has three general roles. Permissions for each role can be adjusted in Monta Hub.

Who is this? The user who owns the Team. Their wallet and charge point permissions can be adjusted, but they can always manage new Team members. A user who can be given managerial permissions — such as editing charge points, managing members, and managing the Team Wallet. The user with the least administrative control. They can be given access to specific charge points and the right to pay with the Team Wallet.
Recommended for: The owner of the charge point site. Anyone who needs to manage the Team Wallet, set up charge points, export data, or invite members. Anyone who needs to use the Team's charge points or pay with the Team Wallet.

Team member permissions

The table below shows which permissions can be assigned per role.

  • This action can always be performed by the role.
  • This action cannot be performed by the role.
  • You can toggle to allow or restrict the action for that role.

Note: An Operator can restrict the ability of Team members to edit bank accounts. If you cannot edit a bank account, contact your Operator.

How do I manage a Team member's permissions?

  1. Open the Team and click the Members tab.
  2. Click to open the Team member's page.
  3. Under General details, switch the Team user role if needed.
  4. Under Others:
    • Toggle to allow the member to pay for charging with the Team Wallet.
    • Toggle to allow depositing and withdrawing funds from the Team Wallet.
    • Toggle to allow access to the charge point configuration page.
    • Click Save settings.
  5. Remove the Team member if required.
  6. Under Charge point access settings, see which charge points the user can charge on and use the action dots to give or revoke access.

How do I transfer Team ownership?

This action is only available to the current Team Owner or an Operator user with Manager or Admin rights.

  1. Open the Team and go to the Members & Access tab.
  2. Click the action button for the Team member you want to make owner.
  3. Select Transfer ownership and click Confirm.
