The challenge
Ampure developed an in-house software platform to support a number of legacy devices they were using with their charging solutions. Their goal was to provide their customers with the perfect software to complement their hardware offering - which remains their core business.
While this in-house solution worked initially, it became increasingly unsustainable over time. Maintaining and hosting this platform diverted resources from core hardware development and made it difficult to scale effectively.
The solution was clear: to turn off their in-house solution and partner with a dedicated software provider, all while ensuring uninterrupted, high-quality service for their customers. Upon partnering, Monta’s migrations team worked closely with Ampure to transition all of Ampure’s existing customers to Monta, quickly and seamlessly.
Commercial users were integrated into Monta’s platform through Monta’s solution providers, granting them immediate access to our advanced software system; Monta Hub. Monta’s local partners then provided more enhanced onboarding, advanced feature setup, and ongoing user support.
Residential users simply downloaded Monta Charge (Monta’s free mobile app) and onboarded their chargers in minutes. Their charging experience was immediately enhanced with the app’s simple, intuitive interface and user-friendly feature suite.

With strong collaboration, the migration was complete in a matter of weeks. This allowed Ampure to decommission their legacy CPMS system within 14 days – leading to immediate cost and efficiency savings.
