Blink Charging HQ 200 performance and user ratings

Monta is committed to complete transparency through real-world charging and usage statistics. We evaluate all charge points in our network on a set of important criteria: charge success, user satisfaction, and uptime. The 30-day rolling averages influence a charge point models overall performance score and ranking on our supported charge points list.

Performance score

A charge point model's performance score is calculated once a day by averaging its uptime, charge success, and user satisfaction rates. The model with the highest 30-day rolling average ranks first on our supported charge points list. The lower the rolling average, the further down the list it ranks

Charge success rate

Once a driver starts charging their vehicle, we can track the charge success rate. This is the percentage of sessions that result in a successful energy transfer to a vehicle. In other words, it shows how reliable a specific charge point model is, which is critical for drivers, charge point operators, and manufacturers alike.

User satisfaction rate

Few things are more important to an EV driver than arriving at a charge point and feeling confident that it will work. And with more regulatory bodies requiring that we report hardware uptime, this is an essential measure.

Uptime rate tells drivers and manufacturers the percentage of time a charge point model is available compared to when it's out of service. When a model is available, this could mean it's reserved for charging, actually charging a vehicle, finishing a charge, or even sitting idle. When a model is unavailable, it might be because it is offline or experienced an error while delivering energy to a vehicle.

To give you the most accurate data, we look at all instances of a charge point model and have defined when we start and stop measuring uptime.

Uptime rate

User reviews have a major impact on a brand. EV drivers can report their satisfaction and provide feedback in the Monta platform about their latest charge session. Based on a scale of 1 to 5 and then converted to a percentage, the user satisfaction rate is the average rating of a charge point model.

This data is available in Monta's Hardware Portal for charge point operators and hardware manufacturers. We explain the user satisfaction scale in more detail in our Help Center.
