Charge point statistics

How to view and interpret charge point and charging site statistics in Monta Hub, including the available metrics and a reference for all charge point statuses.

For: Charge point operators and team admins monitoring charge point performance in Monta Hub.

Statistics are available at both charge point and charging site level. They provide actionable data to help you optimise operations, improve reliability, and enhance the EV charging experience.

View charge point statistics

  1. Open the charge point in Monta Hub.
  2. Click Overview.
  3. Select the time period for which you want to see statistics.
  4. Review the displayed metrics.
  5. Hover over a specific day to see the stats for that day.

Available metrics

Metric Description
Total consumption Total kWh consumed at the charge point or site during the selected period.
Charge sessions Total number of charging sessions at the charge point or site during the selected period.
Successful charges Percentage of charges that completed successfully at the charge point or site during the selected period.
Uptime (coming soon) Percentage of time the charge point is available for charging, excluding periods of error, maintenance, or out-of-order status.

Charge point statuses

Status Description
Available The charge point is available and ready to charge.
Maintenance The charge point has been set to maintenance state by an owner or operator.
Error Hardware or software error.
Disconnected Connection to the charge point cannot be established.
Busy Reserved The charge point is reserved by a user.
Busy Blocked The parking space at the charge point is blocked.
Busy Scheduled A charge session is scheduled at the charge point.
Busy Not Released The charge session is finished but the cable has not been unplugged. Charging cannot start again until the cable is released.
Busy Non Charging A charge session is active but no energy is currently being delivered. Charging may resume later.
Other Passive or unknown status.
Charging A vehicle is actively charging at the charge point.
