Monta will integrate with Tesla Wall Connector to enable charging reimbursement for corporate customers and their employees in  the United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden, and Denmark.

Copenhagen, 12 November - Monta, a charge point management platform, has announced its integration with Tesla Wall Connector. Corporate fleet clients can facilitate automatic home charging reimbursement for their employees using the Tesla Wall Connector through Monta’s platform.

While EV sales slowed in 2024, the number of EVs in Europe surged by 50% between 2020 and 2023, reaching 14.8 million. This growth, particularly in corporate fleets, is pushing businesses to replace traditional fuel cars with EV home chargers, allowing employees to be reimbursed for charging their company EVs at home. To accelerate this transition Monta has integrated its platform with TeslaWall Connector, enabling corporate customers an efficient employee charging reimbursement solution.

“With 6 out of 10 new cars being company vehicles, businesses are increasingly seeking efficient solutions for employee charging reimbursement. We’re excited to integrate with the Tesla Wall Connector which is one of the most popular models in the market. We're making it easier to transition to electric vehicles and accelerating the green transformation across Europe,” says Casper Rasmussen, CEO and co-founder at Monta.

In addition to home charging reimbursement, corporate customers and their employees can also use Monta to access 500,000 non-Tesla public charging points across Europe.

Corporate Fleets Hold the Key to Reducing 74% of New Car Emissions

The company car market continued to lag behind in electrification last year, with battery electric vehicles making up just 14.1% of corporate sales, compared to 15.6% in the private market, according to a 2024 report. For the third consecutive year, businesses are falling behind in EV adoption, despite having the financial resources and benefiting from substantial tax incentives.

“Corporate cars account for 74% of emissions from new vehicles, making them a crucial area for reducing CO2,” says Casper Rasmussen, CEO of Monta. “We’re proud to integrate with Tesla Wall Connector to deliver a solution that not only helps lower emissions but also streamlines the transition to electric vehicles for businesses. Monta shares a commitment to exceptional user experiences, which is key to driving widespread EV adoption.”

Alok Dubey, Regional Director, Strategic Sales—West at Monta, explains, «This integration is great news for Monta in the UK. Automatic home charging reimbursement is a must-have for the industry in the UK, where we have established ourselves as a market-leading actor. This is a game-changer that significantly extends our value proposal.»
