Add toilets, Wi-Fi, food, transport links, security and truck facilities to a charging site in Monta Hub so drivers can see them in the Monta app and on roaming networks.

Amenities tell drivers what they can do while they charge: toilets, Wi-Fi, a café, a supermarket next door, a covered bay, good lighting. You add them once per charging site in Monta Hub, and they show up for drivers in the Monta app and on roaming partners' apps and maps.
Why add amenities?
- Drivers pick sites with facilities. A charge often takes 20 minutes or more. Drivers plan stops around toilets, food and somewhere to wait, especially on longer trips.
- More visits, longer stays. Sites that show their facilities are easier to choose, and drivers who know there's a café are happy to charge longer.
- Better listings on roaming networks. Amenities are shared with roaming partners, so your site is described the same way everywhere drivers search.
- Safety and access. Lighting, camera surveillance and covered bays help drivers feel confident, especially at night. Truck facilities help heavy-vehicle drivers find suitable sites.
How to add amenities
- Go to Chargers and select Charging sites.
- Open the site and select Details.
- Under Amenities, select everything available at or next to the site.
- Click Save.
To remove an amenity, deselect it and save.
What you can select
The list covers facilities at the site, places nearby, transport links, security and truck services. For example:
- At the site: toilets, shower, Wi-Fi, driver lounge, vending machine, ATM, covered (roofed) parking, lighting, parking area, digital price display, fuel station.
- Nearby: café, restaurant, supermarket, shopping mall, hotel, museum, park, outdoor gym, recreation area, food delivery.
- Transport: airport, bus stop, metro station, tram stop, taxi stand, bike sharing, carpool parking.
- Security: camera surveillance, flood lighting, guard, access-controlled area, entry and exit gates, licence plate recognition, pedestrian turnstiles, perimeter fence.
- Trucks: truck parking, secure truck parking, truck repair, truck wash, truck dealership.
Where drivers see them
- Monta app: amenity icons are shown on the charging site, so drivers can check facilities before they navigate there.
- Roaming apps and maps: amenities are shared with roaming partners through OCPI as the location's facilities. Amenities without a matching OCPI facility type only appear in Monta.
- Partner API: amenities are available on the site for operators who build their own apps or integrations.
Good to know
- Only select what's really there. Drivers rely on amenities to plan stops. A toilet that's locked at night or a café that closed last year leads to bad reviews.
- Keep them up to date. Review your amenities when a site changes, for example a new shop opens or a facility closes.
- Accessibility is added automatically. If the site's charge points are marked as suitable for disabled drivers, the app shows an accessibility icon without you selecting it.
- Combine with opening hours and photos. Amenities work best alongside opening hours and photos of the site.
