Cable available is a simple flag on a charge point. Turn it on when the charge point has a cable attached (tethered), so drivers know they can charge there without bringing their own cable.
Where it shows
- In the Monta app — drivers see that a cable is available when they view the charge point.
- On roaming networks — the flag is shared, so drivers using other apps see it too.
How operators set it
In Monta Hub, open the charge point and turn on Cable available if it has a tethered cable. Leave it off for socket-only charge points where drivers bring their own cable.
Good to know
- It's an informational flag — it tells drivers what to expect; it doesn't change how charging works.
- Keep it accurate so drivers aren't caught out on arrival.
