The meter reading publish feature lets you send charge point meter readings in an open format to third parties such as employers, insurance companies, fleet management platforms, or utility companies.

How it works

Set the credentials for the third-party platform in your Operator settings, then enable meter reading publishing on each individual charge point. Once configured, meter readings are sent after every charge session.

Setting up credentials

Note: Credentials can only be set by Operator level users.

1. Navigate to your Operator page in the side menu
2. Click Credentials
3. Click New
4. Select the platform for which you want to create credentials

Allstar: Set up credentials

Allstar and Monta are integrated, so no extra credential steps are needed beyond connecting in the Integrations section.

1. Open your Operator page from the side menu
2. Click Integrations
3. Click +Connect in the Allstar section
4. Click Connect

Allstar: Enable on a charge point

Note: This can be performed by any user who has access to charge point settings in Monta Hub.

1. Open the charge point in Monta Hub and click Details & Settings
2. Find and enable Share meter readings
3. Toggle on Allstar and pick the Allstar credentials — make sure the charge point ID matches the one in the Allstar platform
4. Click Save
5. Optionally, click Test connection to send the last meter reading immediately

Advenir: Enable on a charge point

Note: Advenir is available for operators in France. This can be performed by any user who has access to charge point settings in Monta Hub.

1. Open the charge point in Monta Hub and click Details & Settings
2. Find and enable Share meter readings
3. Toggle on Advenir and enter the Advenir credentials (Advenir User ID and Station ID)
4. Click Save
5. Optionally, click Test connection to send the last meter reading immediately
