This is a guide that shows how to install Monta on your charge point. If you want to connect your charge point to your Monta account, please follow the steps in the end of the guide.
Please note that when you connect your charge point to Monta, we become the operator of the charge point. This means that you need to use Monta to control the charging process.

1. Ensure charge point’s control unit is operating
Ensure that the SLIM charge point is powered up and the charge points’ control unit is operating – check HMI.
2. Open the debug screen
Open the debug screen by pressing the button of one plug and then by holding the 4th button for 4 seconds.

Take note of the last 4 digits of the SN. The last 4 digits will be used to compute the IP address of the charger controller.
4. Open the Windows Network and Sharing centre
Open the Windows Network and Sharing center (or Run ncpa.cpl via the Windows Run utility).
5. Change the IPv4 settings
Open the particular LAN network connection and change the IPv4 settings to:
IP Address 10.2.0.254
Mask 255.255.0.0
6. Connect the LAN cable
Connect the LAN cable to the LAN port of the switch (Ethernet switch LAN3 port) and the service laptop.
7. Open a browser and enter the address
Open a web browser and type in the address based on the last four digits of the product serial number.
For example if the serial number ends with 0241, open the website 10.2.2.41:8080, if the serial number ends with 1241, then open the website 10.2.12.41:8080
8. Open Config menu in WebUI and login
The main page of the WebUI will appear. Click on the [Config] button to enter the configuration menu.
You will be asked to type in your login credentials. Username: service
Password as provided by Delta service or as indicated in the factory test report.
9. Open the [OCPP] settings in the WebUI
10. Open [ConnectionParameters]
Make sure that Enable set to True
Version set to OCPP1.6J
11. Set the back-end URL [Cs Address]
Set the back-end URL address to wss://ocpp.monta.app.
If UseStrongTLS is set to true, then set it to false.
Lastly click save
12. Open [DeviceParameters]
In the chargeBoxIdentity field enter the serial number of the charge point and click save
13. Press the Restart Software button
Now the charge point is configured to connect to Monta servers, to proceed a reboot is required. To reboot press the Restart Software button.
Once the charge point has rebooted, you can continue to connect the charge point to Monta.
Please prepare the serial number of the charge point, as you will need it in the next steps.
14. Connecting the charge point to your Monta account
Now you need to add and connect your charge point to your Monta account.
You can do this through either Monta Charge or Monta Hub.
