1. Connect your computer to your charge point
Connect your computer to the charge point’s controller via MicroUSB cable to the Config port.
2. Open a browser to 192.168.123.123
Open a browser your computer and type the following address: 192.168.123.123
Login with the provided credentials in Commissioning data sheet document that comes with the charge point.
3. Connect your charge point to the internet
In this guide, we are using an Ethernet connection as an example.
On the left side menu, navigate to “Network” and configure the LAN tab settings.
Show LAN Configuration: Show
Mode for ethernet configuration: DHCP server
Save the settings and move on to “Backend” section.
4. Configure the OCPP settings
Navigate to the “Backend” section on the left side menu and go to the “OCPP” settings.
Connection type: Ethernet
ChargePointID: Do not edit the ChargePointID
OCPP Mode: OCPP-J 1.6
WebSockets JSON OCPP URL of the Backend: wss://ocpp.monta.app
Save the settings.
5. Reboot the charge point
Reboot the charge point, so the new configuration can take place.
6. Connecting the charge point to your Monta account
Now you need to add and connect your charge point to your Monta account.
You can do this through either Monta Charge or Monta Hub.
