This is a guide that shows how to install Monta on your charge point. If you want to connect your charge point to your Monta account, please follow the steps in the end of the guide.
This guide applies for models TECHNIVOLT 1100 SMART and TECHNIVOLT 2200 SMART.
Please note that when you connect your charge point to Monta, we become the operator of the charge point. This means that you need to use Monta to control the charging process.
Open your browser to 172.20.0.1
Open the user manual of the charge point to find your assigned User and Password to login.
Now you need to establish an internet connection. In this guide we have used Ethernet connection as an example. On the left side menu, click on “Network” and select “LAN”. There, apply the following settings:
Show LAN configuration: Show
Mode for ethernet configuration: Auto (DHCP client)
Save the settings.
Click on “Backend” on the left side menu. Then select the following values:
Connection type: Ethernet
OCPP ChargeBoxIdentity (ChargePointID): Serial number of the charge point
OCPP Mode: OCPP-J 1.6
WebSockets JSON OCPP URL of the Backend: wss://ocpp.monta.app
On the left side menu, select “Authorization”. Then select the following values:
Free Charging: On
Free Charging Mode: With OCPP Full any RFID
Click the button “Save” to save settings and after this click the button “Restart” to reboot the charge point.
Click on “Dashboard” and check the “Connection State (Backend)” in the System Status tab.
Now you need to add and connect your charge point to your Monta account.
