Manage PowerBank via Monta Hub

What is PowerBank?

PowerBank is a service developed by Monta. You can read all about PowerBank and how it works here.

PowerBank is be available for charge points located in Denmark, Sweden, UK and Ireland.

If your charge point is located in Denmark East (DK2), it is automatically signed up for PowerBank. If you wish to stop the participation, follow these steps here.

Who can sign up a charge point for PowerBank?

Operator level: Operator Admins and Operator Managers

Team level: Team Owner and Team Admins with the right to configure charge points

Which charge points are compatible with PowerBank?

Only specific brands and models of charge points are compatible with the PowerBank service. You can check if your charge points are compatible here.

When you try to sign up for PowerBank, you will see which charge points are compatible, as well.

Sign up charge points in bulk

Charge points can be signed up for PowerBank in bulk, if they are part of the same Team.

1. Open the Team and select Charge points
2. Click on Actions and select Sign up for PowerBank
3. Carefully read the terms and conditions
4. To sign up all charge points use the button Sign up all charge points
   • You can also select the charge point with the Sign up check mark
5. Click on Save

Sign up a single charge point

You can sign up charge points individually, from the Charge Point Functionalities section.

1. Select the Charge points tab and click to open a charge point
2. Click on Charge point functionalities and find PowerBank
3. Carefully read the terms and conditions
4. Move the toggle to Yes

Sign up a Swedish charge point

In Sweden, it is required to fill in the Facility ID (meter ID) of a charge point, before you can sign it up for PowerBank. Here is how this looks in Monta Hub.

1. Open the Team and select Charge points
2. Click on Actions and select Sign up for PowerBank
3. Carefully read the terms and conditions
4. Fill in Facility ID of the charge point
   • You cannot sign up a charge point for PowerBank without that number
5. To sign up all charge points use the button Sign up all charge points
   • The bulk sign up will only work if all charge points have a Facility ID filled in
   • You can also select the charge point with the Sign up check mark
6. Click on Save.

Stop participating in PowerBank

If you wish to opt out from your PowerBank participation, that is very easy to do.

Open the charge point and go to the Charge point functionalities to toggle off PowerBank.
