What is KYC?
When you withdraw funds, we need to verify your identity to keep your account secure and comply with financial regulations. This process is quick, secure, and only needs to be completed once.
Know Your Customer (KYC) is a verification process required to ensure the security and compliance of financial transactions. By verifying your identity, we can:
- Prevent fraud and financial crimes.
- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Protect your account from unauthorized access.
How do I complete KYC verification?
When you request a withdrawal using the Monta Charge App, we need to verify your identity. This is a quick, one-time process.
- Provide Your Information. You'll be asked to enter your address.
- Upload Identification: You’ll need to submit a photo of a government-issued ID (passport or driver’s license).
- Take a Selfie: For additional security, we’ll ask you to take a live selfie to confirm your identity. We therefore also need to ask permission to use your camera and microphone.
- Once completed, your information will be reviewed. Most verifications are approved within minutes, but in some cases, it may take a little longer.
