For: operators using Monta Hub.

The Users section gives you visibility into the people connected to your network. Previously available only to white-label operators, the Users list is now open to all operators.

Data-share users appear only where the feature is enabled for your operator and only with the driver’s consent. This isn’t restricted by country — drivers appear based on their consent, not their location.

What is a "user"?

A user is a person with a Monta account (a driver or account member) — not to be confused with an account (also called a team), which is the billing and access container a user belongs to. One user can belong to several accounts, and an account can have many users. The Users list shows the people; the Accounts list shows the containers.

Who appears in the list

The list shows every user with an active connection to your operator profile (and any sub-operators). A user is connected when they are linked to you through any of these:

  • They are a member of an account under your operator.
  • They are on a subscription plan you provide.
  • They are linked to one of your charge points.

Each user shows a connection type:

  • Application — the user is directly connected to your operator (through an account, subscription, or charge point).
  • Data share — the user isn't directly connected, but they have charged on your network recently and agreed to share their data. These users only appear where this is enabled, and only with the driver's consent, so you can see relevant customers while respecting their privacy.

Where to find it

  1. Sign in to Monta Hub.
  2. In the left navigation, under EMP / Fleet, select Users.

The Users list

Each row shows the user's name, phone number, email address, and the date they joined. You can:

  • Search by name, email, phone number, or user ID.
  • Filter by account (team) to see only the users in a specific account.
  • If you have sub-operators, the list spans your whole operator group; you can narrow it to specific sub-operators.

View a user's details

Click any user to open their detail page. It brings together everything connected to that person:

  • Profile — name, email address and phone number (with whether each is verified), country and language, address, and the date they created their account.
  • Default paying account — the account that pays for their charging by default.
  • Account memberships — the accounts they belong to and their role in each (owner or admin).
  • Charge points associated with their account — including the charging site, connection status, and access type.
  • Charge keys linked to their account.
  • Subscription plans they are enrolled in — including those linked to personal accounts or to charge points.
  • Vehicles connected to their account — including the vehicle name and license plate.
  • Home charging — home charge point records where the user has a reimbursement arrangement. (Charge verification is rolling out gradually and will be available to all accounts by October 2026.)
  • Terms — whether the user has accepted the current terms.

Good to know

  • The Users list is a read-only visibility view — it shows who is connected to your network and their details; it isn't where you invite or remove account members (that's done on the account).
  • Data-share users appear only where the feature is enabled and only when the driver has consented to share their data.
  • Users are sorted with the most recently created first.
