Monta Charge

Your personal Monta Wallet

Add your payment methods, learn how to refill or withdraw funds from the Wallet and view your transactional history.

In this guide you will learn how to set up and navigate your personal Monta Wallet. Under the Me navigation you can see all Wallets you have access to. Your personal Wallet is the first one you see, called Personal.

Add a payment method

  1. Go to the Me section on the navigation menu and click Personal.
  2. Click on Add a payment method
  3. Enter your payment option details and click Add card

Refill your Monta Wallet

  1. Go to the Me section on the navigation menu and click Personal
  2. Click on Refill
  3. For a one-time deposit, select Refill now
    • Enter the amount you want to refill
    • Select the payment method
    • Click on Refill now
  4. For automatic top-ups, select Auto Refill
    • Select an amount to refill automatically
    • Select a payment method - Wallet from the card every time the wallet balance goes below 0.
    • Toggle on Enable auto refill

Withdraw from Monta Wallet

  1. Go to the Me section on the navigation menu and click Personal. 
  2. Click on Withdraw
  3. For a one-time withdrawal, click Withdraw now
    • Fill in the required personal information (email, phone number, IBAN)
    • Select an amount to withdraw
    • Click on Withdraw to bank account
  4. For automatic withdrawals, select Auto withdrawal
    • Toggle on Enable auto withdrawal
    • Select if you want to leave funds in the Wallet
    • Fill in the required personal information (email, phone number, IBAN)

Viewing Transaction History

  1. Go to the Me section on the navigation menu and click Personal.
  2. Scroll down to Transactions
  3. Select a transaction to see the receipt
  4. Share the receipt via PDF, mail or sharing a link

Frequently asked questions

What is an IBAN?

IBAN stands for International Bank Account Number. It is used for identifying your personal bank account. It usually consists of 22 characters in this sequence:

  • Country code
  • Check number
  • BIC / Swift code
  • Sort code
  • Account number

If you are not sure what your IBAN is, please contact your bank.


What is a passcode?

A passcode is a 4-digit code that you need to use every time you use your Monta Wallet. This is a measure to secure your Wallet payments in Monta. You can learn how to set it up here.
