Manage Plans and Subscriptions

Learn how to manage your subscription plans and individual subscriptions.

Please note that subscription plans can only be viewed and managed by Operator users with Admin or Managed user permissions.

1. Subscription Plans

Access subscription plans

  1. Open the left-side menu and select Plans & Subscriptions
  2. Click on View to open the plan
  3. On this page you can see the Plan details, which includes:
    • General information
    • Pricing & Fees
    • History
    • A summarized version of the plan + monthly revenue

Plan transactions

Here are the type of transactions and actions available per type:

Refund the tax refund

To view your plan transactions:

  1. Click on Transactions
  2. If you click on a specific transaction you can open it
    • You can see details, such as the type of transaction, date, VAT rate, etc.
  3. Click on Export receipt to download the receipt for a specific transaction
  4. To export all you transactions, filter the transactions for a specific period of time
  5. Click on Export transactions to receive a CSV file on your email

Export subscribers

You can export all your subscribers, which will give you all subscriptions, their state (active, cancelled, etc.), the customer information (phone number, email) and type of charge point.

  1. Click on Subscriptions
  2. Click on the export button
  3. A CSV file is sent to your email

Contents of the export csv include:

  • Subscription details:
    • Subscription id
    • State of subscription
    • Next purchase date
    • Active at – when the subscription was activated – 
    • Total amount – what the customer pays with applied discounts
    • Discount – the applied discount on the individual subscription
    • Purchases – number of subscription purchases
  • Customer details:
    • For – customer name
    • Email – the email of the Team (where the charge point belongs)
    • Team Owner Name
    • Team Owner Email
    • Team Owner Phone
  • Charge point details:
    • Charge point model
    • Charge point brand
    • Charge point address

Edit a Subscription plan

  • All plan updates will be sent for approval from a Monta Customer Success Manager
  • If you want to apply the plan changes to all subscribers, you must select that in the edit tool.
  • If you have name a suggestion for an update, which has not been processed yet, you will see this on top of the edit tool. Please wait for the suggestion to be approved first or contact your Customer Success Manager before making another change.

Edit a Subscription plan

  1. Click on Edit
    • See if you have update suggestions that have not been processed yet
  2. Make the desired changes directly in the fields
  3. Decide if you want to apply the changes immediately after approval
  4. Decide if you want to apply the changes to all subscribers or only new ones
  5. Click on Submit
  6. Await approval

Schedule an update:

You can also schedule a change to happen at a future date.

To schedule the update:

  1. Click on Edit
  2. Make the desired changes directly in the fields
  3. Select that you want to schedule the change for a future date
  4. Decide if you want to apply the changes to all subscribers or only new ones
  5. Click on Submit
  6. Suggestion is sent for approval
    • When the suggestion is approved, the task gets scheduled and the update will take place on the selected date.

2. Individual Subscriptions

Access an individual subscription

  1. Open the left-side menu and select Plans & Subscriptions
  2. Find the specific subscription and click on Active or Pending in the Subscriptions column
  3. Click on the specific individual subscription
  4. On this page you can see the details, which include:
    • Overview
    • Purchases
    • Details

Edit an individual subscription

You are able to edit the individual subscription that’s part of an existing plan:

  1. Open the subscription in Monta Hub
  2. Click on Quick actions and select Edit subscription
  3. Make an edit
    • Purchase date and/ or applied discounts
    • Additional fees
    • Tax refund payout per kWh
  4. Remember to click on Save changes

Cancel an individual subscription

You can cancel a single subscription in Monta Hub:

  1. Open the subscription in Monta Hub
  2. Click on Quick actions and select Cancel a subscription
  3. Select when the subscription should be canceled
    • End after current billing period means that the customer will continue receiving tax refunds until the stated date
    • Immediately end the subscription means that the customer will stop receiving tax refunds when you confirm the cancelation
  4. Click on Confirm cancelation
