Create a Team

What is a Team?

A Team is a group or organization that manages various aspects of EV charging, such as charge points, users, permissions, and payments. Teams can be set up for different purposes, including professional operations, fleet management, or private use.

In Monta Hub, you can create a Professional or a Private Team. If you need to create a Fleet Operations Team, see here. If you need to have an Operator Team, see here.

Create a Professional Team

This type of Team is suitable for a variety of use cases, including, but not limited to Housing association, Parking, Hotel, and Company.

For example, if you are a Charge Point Operator, and you have a Housing association as a client, you can set up a Professional Team for them. There, they can add and connect their charge points, invite residents, set specific charging prices, etc.

  1. In the Teams section of Monta Hub, click on + Add Team
  2. Select Professional Team
  3. Fill in the company information
  4. Select a tag that represents the type of Team
  5. Click on Create Team

Create a Private Team

This Team is meant for private users, who want to use Monta to charge.

For example, if you are an Operator that wants to offer their services to private EV drivers with a charge point, you can create this Private Team for them and apply a service subscription.

  1. In the Teams section of Monta Hub, click on + Add Team
  2. Select Private Team
  3. Fill in the address and contact information
  4. Click on Create Team
