What is a Flat fee plan?
The Flat fee is a type of Custom monthly payment plan available for Charge Point Operators. Operators can create this plan and apply it per Team. Once applies, the subscription purchase happens monthly, as a flat fee. The money is transferred from the Team Wallet to the Operator Wallet.
Flat fee plans can only be created by Operator users with Admin or Manager user rights.
Select the type of plan
Navigate to the side menu and select Subscriptions. Then click on + Create a plan or Add new.
When you are creating a tax refund plan, you need to select Flat fee plan.
Services
- Give the plan a name
- State the monthly price, including VAT
- Write a summary of the services you are offering
- Check the plan so far and click Next
Create a discount on charging
This service is a called Charge Subscription and is only available for Flat fee plans.This will give Team Members a discount for charging on your charge points.
- Toggle on Apply discount on charging
- Click on + Create new discount
- Give the discount a distinct name
- Select a discount value in % of the charge price
- Select if you want to limit the charge points, where the discount applies
- Any charge point = Discount applies on all charge points under your Operator
- Selected charge points = Discount applies on specific charge points (select per Team)
- Click on Create Discount
- Once the discount is created, you can use it in other Flat fee plans as well.
Apply a charge discount
When you add a charge discount to a plan, it is automatically added to all Teams that have this Flat fee plan. This means that all the Team Members will charge at a discounted rate on specific charge points you have selected under your Operator.
- Toggle on Apply discount on charging
- Click on Add charge discount
- Select a charge discount
- Click on Apply
- Select if you want to apply the discount only when the Team Wallet is used
- Yes = The discount will apply only when the user selects to pay with the Team Wallet, where this subscription is applied
- No = The discount will apply for all payments methods available to the user (Personal Wallet, bank card, Mobile Pay, Vipps, Team Wallet, etc.)
Details & settings
- Write a detailed explanation of the services you offer
- State the exact terms of the subscription plan
- Include a contract URL and a support email (strongly recommended)
- Select if you want to manually approve subscriptions or they instantly become active
- Select when the subscription should be paid by the customer
- Select if you want to allow your customers to cancel the subscription by themselves, or they need to contact you to cancel it for them.
- Click Create and await for the plan to be approved
How is a plan activated
Once saved, your Flat fee plan is sent for review by a Monta Customer Success Manager.
Until the plan is approved, you will see it as Pending.
Once it is approved, it will be shown as Active and you can begin applying it to the charge points.
Apply a Flat fee plan on a Team
Applying and approving Custom Subscriptions can only be performed by Operator level users with Admin or Manager level rights.
- Find the Team in Monta Hub and click on the quick actions
- Select Apply Subscription
- Select the correct plan from the drop-down menu and click on Apply Subscription
- If you have set the plan to automatically approve new subscriptions, it will show as Active
- If you need to manually approve the subscription, continue to next step
Approve a Flat fee subscription
- Find the Team and hover over the Team subscription link
- Click on the summary of the Pending subscription to open it
- Click on Approve
- You can select a custom date, when you want the client to be charged for the first time
- You can also upload the contract with the client
- Click on Approve subscription
- The subscription is now active!
- Monthly plan price will be charged from the Team Wallet every month on the purchase date.
