Managing Teams in the Monta Portal

This guide will help you to navigate around in the team sectiion in the Monta Portal.

1. Adding teams

Click on “Teams” and then “Create a team”

Choose the Type of the Team

When creating a Team for your client, select “Professional Team.

If you are creating the Team where the revenue belongs to yourself then create it as an operator, in this case select “Operator Team”.

Finally If you have a private customer where charge point will be used only for charging at home you can select “Private Team”. This Team will have basic plan by default.

2. Adding and connecting charge points to the Team

Select “Charge points” and click on “Add charge point”.

3. Managing charge point accessibility

Now you can set up the accessibility of your charge points. You can have charge points private – available only to Team members, public – available to all Monta users. Or use scheduling have charge point that is private and public.

Click on the three dots next to a charge point and then on “Accessibility”.

4. How to invite user(s) to a Team?

In order to give others access to charge point(s) added to the Team, you will need to invite users Team Members to the team. To invite team members to the team in the Monta Portal, here is a guide that explains different ways to invite users and  give access to the charge points.

5. How to manage the Team wallet?

In your Team wallet you will be able to see all the transactions that are going from and to the wallet. This is where you will be able to access all the revenue gathered. and export the list of all the transactions.

By clicking on the three dots next to the transaction search engine you can export all the transactions. You can also select the dates.

You are always able to withdraw wallet balance. Here is a guide that explains how to withdraw funds from Team wallet.
You can also enable team invoicing which will allow the team to go to negative balance and in this way you can enable automatic balance payout.

6. How to refund a transaction?

If you need to refund a transaction to an EV driver, such as a charge payment, for example, you can do this from the Team Wallet section of the Team. Please note that this action can only be performed by Team Admins with the right to manage the Team Wallet. Furthermore, you cannot Refund all types of transactions.

Just click on the three action dots next to the correct transaction and select “Refund transaction”. This will take the funds from the Team Wallet and return them to user’s Wallet.
