Managing promotional codes

Promotion codes are a great way to promote your charge points to EV drivers! From Monta Hub, you can create and manage multiple promo codes.

Any promotion code can be personalized and you can:

• Customize the name of the code
• Set a start and end date fir the code to be active
• Define the credit/discount that the code will give the user
• Set how many times the code can be used in total

Please note that a user can only use the same code once. Promo codes can only be accessed by Operator level users.

Credit promo code

When a EV driver redeems a Credit promo code, they receive credits in their Monta Wallet, which they can use within the Monta app for charging.

The driver can only redeem the code one time in their account.

1. Click on Promotion codes on the left side menu
2. Click on Create and select Credits
3. Fill in the name of code, the amount in your currency and click on Next
4. Set a start and end date, when the code will be active to use
5. Set an amount of times the code can be used
   • You can also write description, which will be sent to the EV drivers that redeem it
6. In the field Enter code, you can create a custom code yourself
   • Alternatively, you can just click Random and the system will generate a code
7. To finish, click on Create.
8. Share the code with EV drivers!

Discount promo code

When a EV driver redeems a Charging discount promo code, they get a percentage discount when charging on charge points under your Operator.

The driver just needs to redeem the code once and they will continue getting the discount, until the promo code expires.

1. Click on Promotion codes on the left side menu
2. Click on Create and select Charging discount
3. Fill in the name of code, the % you want to discount and click on Next
4. Set a start and end date, when the code will be active to use
5. Set an amount of times the code can be used
   • You can also write description, which will be sent to the EV drivers that redeem it
6. In the field Enter code, you can create a custom code yourself
   • Alternatively, you can just click Random and the system will generate a code
7. To finish, click on Create.
8. Share the code with EV drivers!

Manage your promo codes

You can view and edit the promo codes you have created in Monta Hub.

1. Click on Promotion codes on the left side menu
2. Click on the three action dots of the promo code
3. To edit the promo code, click on See details
   • You can for example, extent the end date of the code and click on Update
4. To see who has used the promo code, click on Code redeems
   • There, you will see how many people have redeemed the code.
