Deeplinks Management System in Monta Portal

The Deeplinks Management System is a great way to create custom deeplinks for charge points, so EV drivers can access your public charge points by scanning a QR or NFC. You can also use the page to manage deeplinks that you have already connected to QR stickers.

One of the advantages offered by the Deeplinks Management system is that you can create, link and manage deeplinks and charge points without being physically present on the charge point site.

This feature is available for Solution Providers. Please note that in order to pair a deeplink to a charge point, you need to add the charge point to your Monta account. If you want to drivers to be able to scan an QR code or NFC and be able to charge on the charge point, you need to connect the charge point to Monta's backend and make it publicly available.

Create custom deeplinks

You are able to create custom deeplinks, which you can connect to your custom QR stickers.

1. Navigate to "Deeplinks"

In the Monta Portal, on the left side menu, navigate to "Deeplinks". Then, use the action button and select "Add new".

2. Enter number of links and comments

On this screen, you need to enter how many links you want to create (maximum 500 at once). You can also add a comment, i.e. the charge point site, or user, etc.

After the links are created, you will receive an email with a csv file, containing the links' details.

3. Associate the link to a charge point

When a link is created, it is not linked to a charge point. You can pair it by clicking on the action dots on the right side and clicking on "See details".

4. Fill in the details

On this page, you can select which charge point you want to pair the deeplink to. You can search among all the charge points that are under your Operator account. Alternatively, you can use the drop down menu to find the charge point.

Please note that a charge point can only be paired with 1 link at a time. You can also leave a comment for the pairing, such as a site, user detail, etc. After you have filled in the details, click on "Update".

5. Open the deeplink

You are also able to see how the page will look when a user visits the deeplink page. To do so, click on the link and the page will open.

The charge point must be Public for drivers to be able to open the deeplink without the Monta app.

Find a deeplink

You can also find and pair a deeplink for QR stickers, which you have ordered from the Monta shop. This is a great way to connect a sticker to a charge point, without being physically present on the charge point site.

1. Click the action button and select "Find deeplink"

2. Scan the QR on the sticker

Use a phone, which you can use to scan the sticker. Then type the slug in the search field. Afterwards click on "Select".

Once you have tens or hundreds of deeplinks, it can become hard to navigate. On this page, you also search for a deeplink, by using the search bar and inserting the slug of the deeplink.
